PLAY NICE POLICIES In addition to the general guidelines listed in Player Ethics Guide, players are also subject to these supplementary rules while playing the Game and as these are considered as part of the Ethics Guide. While by no means an all-inclusive list of the do's and don'ts in the Game, it provides a suitable guideline in which players can determine what activities are appropriate:

1. You may not use any language that is offensive, of racist nature, obscene or otherwise inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, all manners of swearing, threats, blackmail, discussion of recreational drugs, sexually explicit language and racism or anything prejudice. As offensive language can interpreted in many forms, it will be the mandate of Aeria Games & Entertainment to make a determination as to whether or not a “reasonable person” would feel offended and act accordingly.

2. You may not harass other players. Harassment is defined as specifically targeting another player, or group of players, to harm or inconvenience them. As harassment can take many forms, it will be the mandate of Aeria Games & Entertainment to make a determination as to whether or not a “reasonable person” would feel harassed and act accordingly.

3. You may not discriminate against other players or groups. Discrimination is the treatment of a person based on the group, class, or category to which that person belongs rather than on individual merit. As discrimination can take many forms, it will be the mandate of Aeria Games & Entertainment to make a determination as to whether or not a “reasonable person” would feel discriminated against and act accordingly.

4. You may not disrupt normal gameplay. Any repeated activities that result in disruption of normal gameplay are prohibited. As defining normal gameplay can take many forms, it will be the mandate of Aeria Games & Entertainment to make a determination as to whether or not a “reasonable person” would be unable to play normally and act accordingly.

5. You may not engage in fraudulent behavior. Fraud is the misrepresentation of facts for personal benefit.

6. You may not exchange account information. You may neither give, receive, nor ask about account information (to include passwords, email address, or any other information not available in the public profile).

7. You may not operate a clan, guild, or any other group that violates these rules. - Aeria Games and Entertainment recognizes that these rules are not all inclusive. Other actions may be determined as abuse by staff of Aeria Games and Entertainment. Note: Violation of these rules will result in account suspension. After the designated period (see table below). The account holder may request that the suspension be reviewed and the account re-activated. It is the responsibility of the account holder to request re-instatement.

In my personal opinion and from too many people i have heard and seen, there is a favoritism by GMs as you will find out, once you get to the higher levels. I even had one moderator, johnghost, threaten to ban me because I had referred someone to this site in reference to upgrading with Heaven stones. He told the person that it was superstition and not to read it. But if anyone can define what is superstitious in the strategy guide, please inform me so I can change it. Of course, it is all right to refer people to the other site which is run by Ona, a GM. But he is one GM that is OK in my books. So now I just stay away from the LC forums and just use if for reference if anything now.

How to Appeal when you get Banned

These are just the steps on what to do when you get banned. Whether it is LC's fault or not, you have to go by their rules. I think they must have one person handling stuff, cuz i got hacked and took me forever to FINALLY get it resolved.
Yea, right. Just the usual, we tried but could not do nothing. But again, they at least recovered 10 pieces of my armor and nothing else. Strange, they can recover my stuff, but no gold, potions or nothing. Hmmm, oh well.

1. Click on the HOMEPAGE. At the top you will LOG IN.

2. To the right of your name, put your pointer on HELP.

3. Move pointer to CONTACT US, and click.

4. In the next window, click BAN APPEAL.

5. You then have to fill out the information now. DOUBLE CHECK it to make sure your name is spelled right.

Then send it in.

6. Now if you go to the same procedure again, after you click CONTACT US, you notice to the left in the bottom of the column, that says, "My Tickets." Click this a few times a day, till you get a response.

7. You will be sent an RT number. After 48 hours and NO ANSWER. Then suggest to go to the shoutbox, and give a GS online your RT number. Sometimes they can resolve issues faster. Again, I figure LC has one person working on too many complaints or whatever and you get missed. Case in point. I was supposed to get an item from a tier. Took me about 2 weeks to finally get it. They just seemed to disregard my pm for some reason. But I gave it to the GS and lo and behold, I got my item. Seemed I was overlooked AGAIN, on getting my weapon upgraded from winning a contest, but I knew I would get it, just not right away. Yes, they must be overworked for sure.

Now I DO NOT work for Aeria in anyway. All I can do is tell you what you need to do. Believe me, I have been through all of this and their service is rather slow and dismal.

Everyone gets a ban for different reasons now. I have seen people get a ban, because they bought HACKED items. Even though the person did not know. This was the case a few years back, when a credit card was stolen and used to buy ap and stuff. Well, they banned the people who bought their stuff. Just like in real life, if you buy a "Hot" TV and the police find out, they you lose the TV and do not get reimbursed either. Same as In LC.

Now you know there are people out there that get a legitimate ban but they will appeal pleading innocence too. There are always scammers like this.

Anyway, if you follow this, then let me know by PM what happens, so i can put it in my wiki, on what to do or how long it took to get unbanned. I know at times, they ban a lot of people to get one person, is my theory.
