A. General Information and requirements for donating XP
1. The purpose of "donating xp" or "locking your xp" is so you will not level too fast. Example, You are killing mobs at your level, L27, in the Prokion Temple in a Solo Party and you are getting the max of 5500 sp and say 7,000 xp points.. Now if you level to Level 28, then the xp and sp will go down. With your xp locked, you will now get HALF the xp points or only 3,500 xp, but the same 5500 sp. Then when you get to about 90% of your xp%, then you get your skills you can first, then kill yourself to 0% xp or as close as you can get to it. REMEMBER, you lose sp when you kill yourself or get killed now by a mob. Then getting Elizabeth's buff helps as her buff is 3 hours and is like using a Blessed Iris. You get 200% of xp and sp, along with attack and defense help too.
Now normally with Elizabeth's Buff, you get like 11,000 Experience and 14,000 skill experience. But with the "XP LOCK" you are getting 5,500 xp and 14,000 sp. Remember, it takes 10.000 skill experience to get that 1 sp point you need toward getting that skill. So when you need 10 skill points, that means you need to kill mobs and get 100,000 Skill experience from them to get the 10 skill points.
2. To lock your XP, the GM of the guild must lock it. You can have the GM take 50% of xp or even donate 1% of xp if you wish.
3. When you donate xp to your guild, then for every 10,000 experience points donated, the guild gets 1 Guild Point. When the guild is level 6 or above they need guild points, sp, and gold to advance to the next level. Look at below charts to see what the GP is needed for your guild to level.
4. To get your experience locked, the guild must be level 6 or above. A level 5 guild can not lock your experience at this time.
5. Guild points are used to level the guild and for the GM to send out the guild bulletins with announcements and to raise the membership level and use Guild Skills. The guild bulletin is the Yellow Notice window you see every time you log in with info from your GM. The message is 20 letters across. A smart GM can edit, and post the bulletin board ahead of time to see what it will look like. I always hated notices with words cut off. Just takes the GM a little practice to do this.
B. Upgrading a guild by using sp from a secondary characterTIP - Make a secondary character, who at level 10 can start sp farming in the Velpist Temple. Killing monsters there at the same level as yourself will get 3300 sp. Then you may SP farm in the Velpist Temple till the character is around level 15 and then go to the Prokion Temple to SP farm there, starting on the level 17 ghouls. In the Prokion Temple, killing a monster your own level will get you 5500 sp now. This character can then level up to level 30 and SP farm on the Level 29 orcs there. This would enable you to get Guild Level 5. Remember, if your armor and weapons are big enough, you can go to the Prokion Temple sooner then level 15.
NOTE: When you make level 31, you get a L30-32 armor set +10 and 2 - Level 33 weapons +10. You also get a P2 horse now Then at level 60, you get a level 60 set, armor and weapons, but +5 only. One possibility, is to get a 2d character to just level to get the 30 set. Then get your main to level 27, locked. I Had a level 30 knight with the +10 set and weapons and sure helps. But again, this is one of many ways to sp farm.
A new toon gets 5 PBI and 5 PSSP and a mercenary card. Suggest to use the mercenary card AFTER you sp farm. Note the level on the card as to when you can use it too. The other potions have level caps on them as you can not transfer or sell them too. Use the PSSP for sp farming, then when you are thru say at Level 27 and ready to level , you can use the PBI and the mercenary card then.
Anyway, once the secondary character has the sufficient sp to upgrade a guild level , then have the guild GM to change GM to the secondary character ONLY to upgrade or start your guild. This way, the main character does not use his sp. Then right after guild is formed or upgraded, then of course you will change the GM to his main character. This way the main character does not lose any sp and can use it on his/her general or special skills.
Try to get enough sp for the secondary character, as you can see from below you will have used 470 sp total, just to get to level 5. So at level 23, if you could have say a 1000 sp saved up, that would carry you up to level 6. Of course, you would have to level the character to, I guess, level 30 (or around there), to get level 6 guild. But hopefully, you understand what I am saying. But the trick is that at level 30, you can sp farm in the Velpist Temple getting around 4750 sp per kill. So if you are patient you could really get sp. But then to level past Guild Level 5, you have to have the playing experience to not get killed as you will lose sp if you get killed now. Make sure you at least have a sp restoration scroll on. That way if you die, no sp lost. But that is another story. Besides when you lose sp it is not much the first time.
TIP OPTION @ - There is also another way which i am doing (only cuz i have the ap). I got my main level 29 knight sp farming. He is up to 20k sp then when I get 30k sp, i will start to level. I told the GM whom i have know for a long time, that I got extra sp to try and level the guild as I go along. We are a level 7 guild now. But I told Penny that I would get the guild to like level 15. Nothing is added past level 10 for now, but to be prepared for the future. This is what I call the "sweet spot" in sp farming. I came into a little money to afford to get some ap. but I buy what I need, not what I want. Example, there were 2 - 899ap items for 100% rebate which i bought. 3 weeks later i got the money back. The only thing I really need the ap for is to buy the skill point booster packages. Gets kind of expensive, but then I will be able to sell a lot of the extra stuff I do not need therefore meaning I will not spend ap later. Like sp farming now and saving sp, versus sp farming at level 60 and getting 1100 sp a kill. Slow now, but faster later. Then with all the extra sp, I will see how far I can level the guild too. I saw on the forum where a level 99 guild would need like 2k of sp and I forgot the gp to level. But they say the max level of a guild is level 50. Anyway, it takes me about an hour and 200 spb to get like 1800 sp. Remember too, if you have a lot of sp, to have a sp restoration scroll on at all times.
NEWS FLASHBACK: Dang, I left here guild, since you was never on, when i needed her, and started my own, LOL. Of course, If I had know, i could have leveled my guild. But getting a knight sp farming away. After level 10, the character has to be level 40 to level. So I plan to get a lot of sp before i start to level 40
But say you need 500 sp for level 6 guild. That is why you would constantly sp farm in the Prokion Temple. Getting 5500 sp a kill is better then 1100 sp (at times it may be a little higher sp on the outside now) . So just think of it this way. SP farming in the Prokion Temple is 5 times faster then on the outside. So you could SP farm in a month, what would take you say 5 months. In the tower in Egeha, you can get 5500 sp there but then it is slower to kill the monsters there. I was killing Slashers for the sp now. But this is good to know in case you need to sp farm at a higher level.
Besides, once you have enough SP to get you up to a level 10 guild, you are set. You can have other guildies power level thier OWN secondary character to get the appropriate level to make a level 10 guild. Remember it takes 10,000 sp to get one skill experience point. REMEMBER one thing. You CAN NOT have an account that everyone can access. This is forbidden and the account will be banned. So have who ever wants to help to get their OWN toon to sp farm now.
Now if you have platinum super skill pill and platinum training spell and skill point boosters (The THREE items) and you are level 30, you could use the sp you have to level the guild. This is good if you do not use a secondary character for its sp or it is slow leveling up and you want the guild right away. At level 29 sp farming in the Prokion Temple, I go to 2d floor and using the pssp, pts, and spb I can get about 1500 sp easy in one hour of grinding. Of course, i only use the spb on the Orc Sergeants only now. I have plenty of pssp and pts but limited spb and dont want to buy more. Anyway, I found that if you have the 3 items 600 is not that much. I always used to wonder when players said they had 15k sp and they did it in a week. If you have the 3 items, you could play 2 hours a day, and have 30k in a week easily. But this change is only because of the 5500 sp you get from killing a monster your level in the Prokion Temple now.
Then if they get GOOD drops, then read the Strategy Section to find out how the person sp farming on the secondary character can give it to their primary character (without help from anyone). I could tell you, but then you need to read it as I know not too many have done so. Got questions, ask in the forum.
C. DONATING XP
People may want to donate xp to the guild. For example in the character above, if it is level 29, then the secondary character would donate the xp to the guild. For myself, I will level to level 29 and sp farm for a couple of months. With donating xp I will not have to worry about losing sp by killing myself as before. I might lose say 2 sp but then when I plan to sp farm for a couple of months, that will be a lot of sp i might have lost too.
At the time I was sp farming my main, the xp lock was 100%, and it is so nice because no worry of killing yourself as such.
Also, it takes 10,000 xp to make 1 guild point.

==========================================================================================F. FINANCIAL SECTIONWhen you get to the guild hall, you see someone in there, Guild Financial Mananger, and then you try to access the financial stuff and you can not get nothing. Well actually, you must be the owner of either Merac Castle or the Tomb. The game evolves but the Aeria staff do not evolve the game with it in some things. Case in point, acquiring mining or cutting herb skills. These are a complete waste of sp on these skills. Now you can make enough money to buy tool aids instead of wasting your time cutting herbs or mining stones all night long. You will find you can sell your drops and make money to buy your herbs or stones you need, plus have extra money left over.
So checking on the tax money is the 2% of the tax you are recieving when players want the nifty sign that stands out and pay 2% of their sales to have it. The 2% goes to the owner of Merac Castle. Remember, do not use it when you are selling high price items. Figure it out and I have found out that the regular white sign is good enough. Just list the big items and players will check on it. The owner of Merac Castle and the Tomb of Theos are the only people able to access this feature now.
So there is a few things you do not worry about in the game and this is one of the few, lol.
G GUILD TIPSBy: shmahadle Mar 16 2009
Hmm... if your guild is less than level 6, I would suggest not recruiting people who are strangers to you; try to make friends while grinding, if they don't seem to have a guild, ask them to join, these people are less likely to just leave or reject. If it is level 6 or more, it'll be easier to find members (who won't disappear after day 1). This next part will probably be the most important: let them know that you call the shots and that you are the gm. In other words, don't be too passive, don't let them order you around (for example, when I'm giving something to a guildie, I always wait until they say please to give it to them). On the other hand, don't be too aggressive, ruling your guild with an iron fist won't do much good. Always try to have some sort of "event" that will make them interact with each other. For this I would recommend a guild war, they love those. Finally, always try to be either the strongest or above the average guild member, this may seem unnecessary but surprisingly, it ups the morale.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I couldn't agree with shmahadle more. When I started, I was fortunate to find a helpful friend right away. He was the GM of a guild and had a level 90 character. He showed me the ropes and allowed me to enter the guild a few days later. It was my intention to stick with the guild all the way. The problem was the GM either didn't play often or when he was on he just sat in town talking with everyone else in the guild. It took me about a month but I eventually caught up to his level and even passed him. I left the guild and ended up joining XxDivinityxX.
The GM is 131 and that impresses me and motivates me to reach higher levels. Call it competitive spirit or what have you but I am thrilled to be around serious players and being led by a GM that strives for excellence, It is definitely a morale booster when they are active and working hard to be the best.
By: 5fingers May 2009When I started my guild out, I recruited at any level. Then I figured to get a lot of sp farmers now. Sp farmers equals Guild Points which may be needed down the road. I know that a lot of people will not stay in the guild when they are finished sp farming now. Most meet friends or what not and change guilds. Then higher levels will not stay in a new guild, because they want to be with other higher level players. Yes, this is a vicious circle. And with the ones that join my guild and then they want to borrow gold or money, I just throw them out right away. Reason is, from my last guild, they join till you stop lending them money or armor then leave to mooch off another guild.
But I figure in the long run, it will take a good year, to hopefully get 20 good players, in the guild now. A lot play on and off, but every two months I kick out the non players. Keep you posted.
By: lnfinity November 2009
I started out recruiting only new players that I could grow with, then gradually increased the level cap of the guild as the average level of the guild grew. I finally decided to split the guilds, with InfinityCircle for new players, thus sticking with it's traditions, and now Exalted for our 90+ seige members. In doing this I noticed that the lower levels have something to shoot for, and thus tend to remain loyal when they graduate to the larger guild. We currently have 50+ members in the lower level guild and nearly 40 that are 90+ now in the big guild.
H. LEAVING YOUR GUILDDon't like your guild and want to leave? Beware if you leave a guild of your own accord you will suffer a 7 day penalty before you can join another guild. There was an alternative way, but that glitch was fixed, and so now you quit or get kicked. Incidentally, where it says 7 days it means GAME TIME, or 3 days REAL TIME. So if you quit Monday morning, then Thursday morning you can join.
