The are three types of parties: Equal, Combat, or Precedence. Then the solo party is when you are in a party, but you are grinding (fighting) by yourself. You can be in ANY party mode, but you do not have any party members in your radar. It is the solo party that you get the max xp and sp for each monster you kill.
There are two ways to make each of the 3 parties.
1. Press "G" or press the "Status Icon" located at the bottom left. The icon depicts a head with a helmet on.. Press G will get you the action window. Then Click, "Party Auto Matching." The next window is as follows:
1. Party Member Registration - In the next wndow you are given 3 options to joining a party - 1. Equal 2. Combat 3. Precendence.
EQUAL PARTYIn this party, everyone shares in the xp and drops. Any levels can join this party. Now there is a catch to this too. I think if there is either a 10 or 15 level difference then the lower level will not get much points. The game works it like this so a level 90 player could not power level a level 10 player. The level 10 player would actually get more points if he was not in the party. But if the player is like 10 levels above, you can share decent points. The points are equal ONLY when both players are equal in level. Then for every level drop there is a slot drop in the sharing now. If no parties or members are available, then I suggest to register on an equal party now.
COMBAT PARTYIn this party, you get xp and sp from your kills. They are slightly less then if you were in a solo party. But if the other person makes a kill, you get a slight percentage of xp and sp from the other person's kill. It is roughly 25% more, if you are both killing at the same rate. The level difference is 10 levels. I had been told it was 15, but as always I tested it out and it is a 10 level difference from the lowest player to the highest player.
Precedence PARTY Same as an equal party except you get to keep any drops you get. This is useful like durin Tuesday's Monster Spawn. That one one person can buff the group, but when the treasures drop, each person keeps whatever he picks up. The first time they had a treasure hunt and I had formed an equal party. I know how to pick up and after I was wondering where all my hs went. LOL Then i realized what I had done. I lost like maybe 6 hs, but I learned. I told the others, but did not want any hs back.\\2.
2. Available party member listThis shows the members that are registered according to the type of party they registered in. Usually, you can click on and they can accept to join or not join your party. When you register, then people will see your name here and hopefully someone will pick you up.
If you click someone and they accept your invitation to your party, then you are the party leader. They will see your name in green on the list. Now that you have your 2 man party, go to Party Member Registration. Once there you will notice towards the top of the window, space where you can name your party. It is rather vague now. But once you name your party there, then click accept and you are then on the party list. I always have Prokion Dollar Party. But as the party leader you can make any name for your party now.
3. Parties Recruiting MembersThis will show you the list of any parties that are listed, by type of party and level requirements and type of member if any. Most of the time the parties are equal. You just click this and then the party leader will accept you. When sp farming on event days, the temples may get full. Change servers and try to get in a party with not too many people in the Temple now.
So being in any of these parties, with no one on the radar is a solo party. You notice before when you killed something that the xp and sp went up and down. Then in a solo party, you know notice all the kills on the same monster will get you the same xp and sp numbers. These are the max you get from the monster when you kill it.
