This are the stats and notes on the new pets. I got a Scrat-chi pet and notes are gotten from this pet. But these notes should apply to both pets.
NOTE: It is cheaper to just buy the It-chi or Scrat-chi. The dragon parts are very rare and cost more to get then just buying the pet.

With this list, you can try to acquire the drops and dragon/horse parts ahead of time. No need to buy a Torn Book of Life. For example, in trying to get foxs tails and myst eyes, i got 6 books for drops. So no need to buy one ahead of time. Think about it, if you buy the book, you still can not get pets till you get the parts. So in the mean time, hunt for the parts and I know you will get the books as drops. Also, make sure you have 800k to get to Egeha. You go there to get the quest and then once you have the

ICHI PET - Torn Book of Life P2

After going to the Velpist Temple in Randol with your Torn Book of Life P2, you will get the quest by going to the Magician who then gives you the following quest, collect the fox tails and Horn Beast Eyes and then to deliver them to the Moonstone Golem in Merac to recieve the Gold Gem Stone of Hope.

14 fox tails and 17 Horn Beast Eyes.

These items can be obtained by killing the Foxes and Horn Beasts lurking outside in Juno. To get the items to drop, kill any of the monsters listed below:

Fox Tails: foxes level 1, Clever Fox of Desert level 26 and Silver Fox level 33
NOTE: To get fox tails, make a level 1 knight character to hunt foxes only. Once you get to level 5, you can equip a level 9 weapon and make it to +3 out of level 9 weapons now. Remember you get TWO smelts when you use a weapon to smelt and only 1 smelt with armor. Then if you are in a level 6+ guild, you can lock your xp at level 5. Reason again, is that the further away you are from level 1, the less the % of drops are. At least, that is what i have seen so far. Then after you get your foxtails, sell all your armor to NPC and deposit gold, and important drops in storekeeper and delete character.

3 Perfect Moonstones
NOTE: It takes 3 moonstones and 1 box to make a good moonstone. It takes 3 good moonstones and a box to make a perfect moonstones. There are 4 types of boxes listed by name, % chance of increased rate of success, and gold cost : Moonstone Combination box - 100 gold, wooden box (200% chance) - 1000 gold, Bronze Box (300% chance) - 10,000 gold, and Silver Box (400% chance) - 100,000 gold. These are bought from Merchant Geres. I usually use the bronze box to make the good moonstones and use a silver box to try to make Perfect moonstones. If the box fails, then you only lose 2 of the moonstones you put in now. So to me it is worth to buy the bronze box as you now have 3 good moonstones (aka 9 regular moonstones) to try to make perfect moonstone.

Note: Go to the Master of Processes located at the intersection of the North Gate in Randol to make the black diamonds. If you have the Flawless Processing Skill, Level 3, you will have an extra 100% success rate. That is with the Master of Processes you may make 40 black diamonds out of a 100 tries. With the Level 3, flawless processing skills, i can make at least 80% of success.

Note: Master Coins sells for various prices on Sarissa. I have seen from 1.3 mill to 10 mill gold. So you can shop ahead and try to get them cheap if you can.

3. Stats for Pets

Your stats consist on the following as listed in your pets inventory:

attack
magic attack
defense
magic defense
accuracy rate
evasion

Every time your pet levels, your pet recieves 9 stat points. Applying 1 stat point to each attribute is as follows:

1 stat point Strength = +1 attack, then +2, +1,+2, and so fourth
1 stat point dexterity = +1 accuracy rate
every 4 stat point to dexterity = +1 Evasion
1 stat point constitution = +9 vital power (blue line), +5 defense
1 stat point intelligience = +8 mana (blue line), +1 Magic Defense

I have no info as to how to apply the stats or what is the best to apply on. But I went to level 15 and did not apply any. My reasoning was that if the pet could not hit the monster, then it would not get hit back. Yes, every once in a while, he would get attacked.

4. LEVELING YOUR PET

Through trial and error, I found that hunting treants was the best possible way to level my Scrat-chi pet. You are able to mob treants and with each kill, you pet gets xp from it. I am a level 32 Templar Knight (pet trainer) and leveling my pet. I use dual swords as the Treants do not do damage to me. Think outside the box now. With duals, I get more hitting power. My pet is level 15 and getting 0.23% xp each kill. I noticed a 0.02 drop xp with each level my pet got. But though I might get double xp from higher mobs, this is faster still.

Here are the little tricks to leveling now. Get open your inventory window and put your pet at the bottom left corner. Then slide your window over to the left, so that only the column with your pet appears on the screen. You do this since there is still a glitch in that you can not put your pet on the combat bar on the bottom. Anyway, this is the next best thing. You gather your mob, then you equip your pet. When you gather a mob, you can line them up. If you notice if you have the mob next to you and retreat in a straight line box, then the mob will be in a line to you. This way of "lining the mob" presents itself, so that only one or two are actually attacking you versus being in the middle and 30 treants are attacking you.

Gather the mob, line them up, give your self any buffs you have at this time. When I give myself a horse buff, I always give myself both, just to be on the safe side. Then I unequip horse, buff myself with devotion, start attack, then equip pet. Then I apply an attack scroll as i nearly gather every treant in the area. Now once you have everything going and pet equipped, you need to put your pet icon below the mob icon. Keep a watch on your pet xp, while clicking away on your mouse to attack the Treants.

Reason is, that once your pet gets hit, you can do two things. Unequip pet so it will lose aggro. Or you can click the bandage icon to heal your pet. I usually use the bandage as i can kill the treant attacking my pet. But if not, then unequip your pet, wait a few seconds, the equip pet. Heal your pet and try to keep it as close to max HP now. Remember, to revive your pet can get expensive so dont be cheap and get the Thick Bandage now. I keep it on slot 7. So when i am click away, attacking the treants, i am looking at my pets hp bar (red bar). Then if he gets hit, i just press 7 to heal fast.

REVIVING YOUR PET

Something new is added. You can go to the usual pet trainer and PAY to get your pet unsealed.
At level 16 it cost around 200k and just think of the cost when the level gets to level 40.

SKILLS FOR PET

You must have battle skill book. You go to animal trainer and get the first skill like you do your pet horse or drake. Now the 2d skill you must be at a higher level. I will post when you can get it. I am at level 16 and can not get it yet.
