Know Thy Enemy! Monster & Enemy Information
Last Chaos Monsters and Enemies
Monsters & Enemies
You are never alone in the lands of Iris. Wherever you are, you are never more than a stone's throw away
from something that wants to eat you, skin you, or see what your insides are made of. Monsters and enemies (commonly referred to as "mobs") are scattered throughout the lands, and it's a good thing! These mobs will be your main source of income, advancement, and game play. Killing mobs will reward you with item drops, gold, rare items, quest items, and of course, valuable experience and skill experience.
Aggression
Not all mobs want to tear you limb from limb. There are different types of mob behaviors. Sometimes, you will be the aggressor.
Passive - Passive mobs will not attack you unless you attack them.
Aggressive - Aggressive mobs will attack you if you get too close.
Aggro-Aided - Aggro-Aided mobs can be passive or aggressive. When you attack or are attacked by a mob that is Aggro-Aided, mobs of the same type in the area instantly become aggressive towards you.
Be warned. If you bite off more than you can chew, mobs will follow you for an incredibly long time. They can be difficult to shake off, turning the hunter into the hunted.
Color Coding
As you advance through the lands and grow in power, you will notice that the mob names can be different colors. This color coding is a valuable piece of information for the aspiring adventurer.
Red Named Mobs - Give very high experience and very low skill experience
Orange Named Mobs - Give high experience and low skill experience
White Named Mobs - Give good balance of experience and skill experience
Green Named Mobs - Give low experience and average skill experience
Blue Named Mobs - Give very low experience and low skill experience
**This does not always run true, but it gives a general idea of what to expect**
