Last Chaos Poetry: Pandoras Box

Pandoras Box

Oh how I have come to hate that box,
It calls and lures me as it mocks,
Its just a temptation I cannot resist,
Each time I sigh and clench my fist!

I happily roam and adventure on,
By killing off mobs one by one,
Then it gently bumbles into view,
All gold and bright in its aura of blue.

I sigh and I grumble and try to ignore,
The thoughts of the contents fill me with awe,
I think and decide that this box will be mine,
And already I am lost to this box so divine.

I should know better I scream in my head,
I could be in danger I could end up dead,
But think of the riches the secrets inside,
I take a deep breath and throw the lid wide.

Now I lay dead I need never endure,
The demonic box and its heavenly lure,
I got a surprise from the now open box,
A shadowy beast lay behind all of those locks!

dude you describe it perfectly man i always try to move away from it and one time i saw it by the randol bridge and couldn't resist opening it. (Ah I made a lot of capitalization mistakes, well to much work now, ha ha)

yes, now that temptation has seeped into the mix, i no longer run from pandoras box, indeed i go trollin for it, lol.. today i saw two.. the first one i hit and i got some kinda glowing magical thingy.. no clue what it is, but mebbe sumthing sweet, so i'm savin it .<the girl likes a lil bling, lol there was no gold tho, *sigh* then, later i was on a newbie quest and saw it again.. who knows mebbe i COULD get lucky again..?? Sure the chances are probablly astronomical.......... but OTAY i'll do it, ha!
AAAA aaaack! nope it slayed me right off the bat !!!!!!!!!!! *owie!* anyway i love that lil box.. thank GAWD this aint Vegas, lol

This was great!
I'm new and opened the box the 1st time i saw it, of course i died, lol..so after that i just ran from it.
After reading your poem, i realize that on rare occasion it can be a gift and not always a curse.

Well hate to break your bubble and give you the "Blues." lol But the poem's writer is at the bottom. You will see on each page at the bottom. Last Updated by, and that poem was from Gelflin. He was the creator of this site now. He had mentioned that he would go on as long as he could. Then 6 months nothing from him. Then the Wetpaint advertised who wanted a job. I hate that 3 letter word too. But since it entails making my own hours and tell any good looking Blues singer, "Waz up Doc?" I got the job. LOL I did try to send him PMs but he never answered,

FYI, I took over and completely revamped the whole site now. If Gelflin came back there is not anything much he would recognize. In those days, the max plus for a weapon was plus 10 and now possible to get plus 16.

Now if you want fun and advice, I tell peeps here that come to Sarissa and join my guild. It is fun there with all the banter and it gets ROUGH at times on certain people too. lol We have this Donut theme going. But if you got in you would see.

Also, like i tell others, after one month, then you are eligible for freqrent log in miles and also you get to borrow any armor or weapons I have on the list.

OK, it is also GOOD to break open the box. Sometimes you might get gold too. Now if you hit it open, you can run away fast now. It takes the monster there a few seconds before it will attack you now. But once you get the hang of it, you can do it. Also, depending on your level and the pandora monster level you just attack, run, heal, attack, and so fourth. I remember Long ago, when Dizzy Gillispie was a boy, we would get 8 people to jump on a pandora monster in Merac. I think half of us, did not know what to do, me included.

To answer you check problem. Send me a couple of hot checks, then i can keep warm at night now.
