The monster combo system is a new instanced group dungeon available to all last chaos players. The point of the system is to allow players to choose what monsters they wish to battle and then places them in one of several dynamic battle fields. This is a really exciting addition to Last Chaos as it allows both high and low level players the ability to fully customize their battle experience. | ||
| Where do I sign up!? 1) The Master of Monster Combo NPC can be found in Dratan City. Talking to this NPC will bring up the following options Note: The party leader must choose all the parameters of the dungeon. Once the party leader enters the dungeon the rest of the group will automatically be teleported inside.S | ||
| Edit Mode http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3170/2617191652_92281fdabd.jpg In the edit mode party leaders can choose what monsters they want to fight inside of the monster combo dungeons. Currently players can choose up to 20 monsters to fight. Each slot is designated to one stage of the monster combo dungeon. Note: Players must choose at least 5 monsters to begin the monster combo. Monsters can be placed in groups of 5 up to 20 total monsters. Each monster slot represents 1 stage of the monster combo event. Note Note: Different monsters cost different amounts of gold. Max Entrance Fee = 1.8 million Minimum Entrance fee = 4,000 | ||

| 3) Once you party is inside you can begin the instanced dungeon. How to win monster combo a) Every monster that the players have chosen will be found inside of the monster combo dungeon. Players must defeat all of the monsters in order to proceed to the next stage. b) During the battle you must work as a team to defeat the immense armies of monsters. You must also watch for traps. Traps come in 5 varieties: Earth Wind Fire Lightning Water Heart Together they form Captain Planet If you or your party is caught in a trap you will receive 10% of your total health in damage. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3031/2616366941_7a6a767c56.jpg c) After 5 stages prizes will be dropped for the players. These prizes consist of coins, that can be used to open various types of chests. These coins can be spent in the MC Market found at the Master of Monster Combo NPC in dratan. | ||
MC Market In this screen players can trade in tokens gained from winning monster combo. There are currently 5 types of coins. Old Coin Coin of Membership Coin of Performer Coin of Manager Coin of Master Coins need to be accrued in certain amounts in order to open the chests that can be bought from the Dratan NPC. The contents of the chests include new accessories never before seen in Last chaos. I will not divulge all of the new accessories to you now, but know that they are different than any that have currently been found in game thus far. | ||
| Known Bugs 1) Some of the monster combo accessories give 0% increase to critical rate. This bug has been documented and sent to the developers, a fix should be available within the next month. Overall I would say that the increase to critical rate option is bugged in general. So don't be surprised if it doesn't work. 2) Occasionally, that is to say, not often. Players who choose to leave monster combo will find themselves in the lobby with no NPC. There is not currently a fix for this bug. |

After much toil in the monster combo in dratan I saved up 100 master coins and instead of selling them I decided I'd try out my luck at getting a nice accessory.
Boy was I sure glad that I did. I opened my box and there before me was a joyous prize. The accessory reads as follows. Necklace of Thunder Hit rate: 93 All physical attack: 8 Attack: 5 Hit rate: 93 Hit rate: 93 I was told by a few people that it is worth 2 billion easily and I might hold out for 3 billion from some gold buyer that is looking for a sweet acc. On second thought. I think I might just keep it. I don't think I'll find one with mods like that again. I wish I could get one with 93x3 hr as well as 56x2 eva. Now that would be worth 3 billion in my book. Here's to hoping. btw I went around and bought up just under 500 coins hoping that I might get another decent one. Not so lucky those times. At 2 million each coin that was quite costly. You know what they say about beginners luck. I can hardly believe it but I am super excited at my find. I do not recommend that you use your coins to get accessories unless you have money to spare. If you need money sell them, sell them, sell them. I am down and out after buying the 480 something coins to hopefully get other good accessories. It kills me to see my gold under 50 million but It'll only be a matter of time before I am rocking and rolling again. |
