PET HEALTH - Vital power, Degree of Starvation and Degree of Sympathy

The red bar of your pet's GUI is the pet's "Vital Power." All pets, regardless of their level, have 100 points. This may not seem like much, but this is counteracted by the fact that pets can only take one damage from attacks, regardless of the level and/or damage value of the attacker. You feed Herbs to your pet to keep the red bar full. To feed your pet, equip the pet, then double click either stones or herbs. If the red bar ever reaches 0, then your pet dies. If your pet dies, then you take him to the Animal Trainer. Click on the Animal Trainer, then click "Unseal your Pet." Click E to get your inventory on the screen, then drag pet icon to the window where the square is. Once you put pet in there, you will see how much it costs to Unseal or revive your pet.

The yellow bar represents your pet's "Degree of Starvation." A full yellow bar indicates a well-fed pet, but if you neglect to feed your pet and the yellow bar decreases too far, your pet will starve. Once the yellow bar reaches 0, your pet will not move or gain any xp. You feed your pet stones to keep the yellow bar full.

Sympathy is another factor involved in keeping your pet happy. If your pet does not sympathize with your character, your character will not get the most out of your pet. For example, if the sympathy is at 50%, then you will get only 50% of any pet skills you have. You can feed sympathy with energy rocks. Also, if your pet stays out, then the sympathy will stay at 100%.
