Simple Pk GuidelinesIf you are a person that might be interested in PKing later on in the game (must be at least level 16) then these are some guidelines you should follow:
DON'T
1.) Don't PK until you reach like level 50 as you're strong enough and experienced that you have a way better chance of
actually killing your target.
2.) Don't run around with PK mode on unless you are looking for someone specific. Someone else might decide to PK
you without warning.
3.) Don't threaten people for KSing (kill stealing). I learned the hard way from some high levels from the guild Hostile, lol.
They beat me to a pulp and lectured me, I learned and felt stupid not realizing that the low levels don't know what KSing is, so why threaten them for doing something they didn't do? Just felt i should add that =). Also, KSing and luring is now legal and not bannable like it was last year 08. So you can PK and KS away now. Of course, you will not make too many friends either. KS in now legal and NOT bannable like it was before. Just like you can PK all you want no and again it is not bannable.
Simple Pk guide DOsWell, there aren't really any specific do's, as long as you don't do the dont's... If that made any sense, lol.
PKing...
PKing is fun, yes, but as I said earlier, it would be smarter to wait till like level 50 before you start actually and seriously PKing, because you are much stronger and more familiar with the game, thus increasing your chance of defeating your target. Just be careful.
Experience and Skill Experience loss...
When you PK, there is the chance of losing xp or sp..
1) When you get PKed with a red name.
2) When you get PKed with PK mode on, and you kill the other person.
3) When you get PKed with a red name, I have made the observation that you lose more xp and sp then just having pk mode on =P
4) And you also get more evil points the more you PK. Enough evil points and you will start to get penalties in defense and attack.
Everyone starts the game with a white name. You’ll see some people with red and others with blue names. Here’s what they mean:
- Red Name = Evil (Good/Evil score is –10 or lower)
- White Name = Innocent (Good/Evil score is –9 to +9)
- Blue Name = Good (Good/Evil score is +10 or higher)
The points are given as followed:
- A player gets –10 points for killing a White or Blue player if both players are PvP enabled.
- A player gets –20 points for killing a White or Blue player if the dead player was NOT PvP enabled.
- A player gets 0 points for killing a Red player regardless of whether the player was PvP enabled, if the player was of lower or equal level.
- A player gets +5 points for killing a Red player regardless of whether the player was PvP enabled, if the player was of higher level.
- A Red player gets -10 points for Killing a White or Blue player, even if in self-defense.
- A Red player will have 5 points removed from their negative score if they die in PvP.

Working Off the Evil PointsTo work off the evil points, you may do so in the following ways, but you MUST be on a PVP server.
1. You can use a scroll of resurrection and get killed to work off evil points, that way you do not lose xp or sp. Charge the person gold to kill you in a remote area if they want to get blue name.
2. Go into merchant mode in a PvP server will work off Evil Points. You have to be in a PvP server to work any points off.
3. Kill any mobs, except for BLUE name mobs, to slowly work your evil points off. Suggest to have the log off window handy in case someone attacks you. If you get killed, then possibility of armor or weapon getting sealed. But if you do get killed, at least 5 points come off. That is why to have resurrection scroll on at all times.
4. If you have 0% xp, then put on a skill restoration scroll on. Then CHARGE gold for someone to get a blue name from you. Don't let people get a blue name for free now, LOL
5. Then if you have 0% sp, then the opposite is true. Have a Experience Restoration Scroll on so you will not lose xp. Of course, have your armor and weapons unequipped and charge for someone to get a blue name from you.
6. Go to the Personal Dungeon and kill to your delight. No one will bother you here now.
Say you got a red name and either the experience restoration scroll or the SP Restoration Scroll on. You know you can not equip a Resurrection Scroll. Well go to the arena, and die there and use that XP or SP Restoration scroll. If you ever have the Resurrection Scroll on, remember NOT to use it. In the Arena, if you die nothing is lost, so do not use the Resurrection Scroll. You will die, land on the pad with no loss on the xp or sp now.
Remember, when the points get to -9, you finally get a white name.
The PK still has issues. One thing that has not been fixed is if someone were to PK you and you change weapons and kill the person who was PKing you, you get the red name. A little quirk that is nice to know. But then how many times does once actually change weapons too.
I found this out when coming out of the herbal garden. I had to stop and equip my weapon, killed the person who was trying to PK me, and got the red name.
PVP Arena
The PVP arena is an area in Juno where you can PK freely without the loss of XP or SP, or the gain of a red name. You can kill (or pawn someone) in the arena. No xp or sp is gained or lost, if you kill or get killed. This is also great way to test out skills too.
But the second you enter the arena, the pk mode automatically comes on, and you are at the mercy of the players already in, and yes, watch it in the arena, because some players take it personally if you attack them for no reason.
You are not able to kill in the Arena till you make Level 16. If you enter before, no PK mode turns on and you can not hit the other players in the Arena nor can they hit you.
Sealed Armor/Weapons
If you are killed with a red name and you have armor or weapons equipped there is a possibility that a piece of armor or weapon may get sealed. may get sealed. So if a sealed armor or sealed weapon is sealed, then you lose all the protection that the item gives you and it can not be equipped. I learned this the hard way when i first stated out.
Go to the Archbishop (located to the left of the Arena) to unseal the item. Depending on what you got, sometimes cheaper to buy the piece of amor, especially if it is not upgraded, and you can see the gold cost it will cost to unseal the item. The cost is dependent on the level and plus of the weapon or armor. I know one time, it was cheaper for me to lose the item and buy another one. .
Now sometimes you have a red name and want to sell a blue name. That is if someone your level or lower can kill a Red Name person, at their level or lower their name turns blue. Then if you do this, then take all your armor and weapons off. They may kill you1m2m4 times and nothing happens, then on the 5th time you may be an item sealed. When you do this, make sure to do it in a remote area. Also, if you have a lot of sp, then make sure to have a sp restoration scroll on so you do not lose sp. Then when you get killed a 2d time, make sure the sp restoration scroll is on.
Also, if you have a resurrection scroll on, they can kill you and no xp or sp is lost by you. That is, if you can afford the Resurrection scrolls.Rules of PKThings have changed since last year. Now you can PK anyone, anywhere, for no reason now. It used to be if someone PKed you, you would not lose xp and sp points. I used to let Vendetta members kill me till they got tired, lol. They were so dumb. Then I would come around and then kill the red name to get a blue name. But I always had a resurrection scroll ready though, just in case I was killed, when I had the PK mode on for me.
Some people like to PK for the fun of it. But remember to buy resurrection scrolls and get your white name back fast.
Luring and KSHere is a simple explanation of luring and ks which are legal now.
Luring and KSing (kill stealing) are not bannable offenses unless someone is singling you out and follows you from spot to spot and from sub-server to sub-server. If that's the case, get sufficient evidence to proof harassment and report them. If it's not, then all you can do is ask in the forums if someone will take care of the meanie for you and to warn others about this person. This thread is meant to help you distinguish between harassment and simple annoyance, using quotes from the people that actually judge the reports.
