Ranger Guide & InfoThis is a featured page

This page is pretty empty, lol. Basically, best way to do a Ranger is to live in Prokion Temple for an eternity, or lvls 17-34, which ever comes last,& then when you select your double-class go Assassin until Level 60. Fortunately, both Ranger & Assassin need about the same skill points (sp) till then.

At lvl 60, reset skills & go Ranger, which are, by far, the best characters for long range attacks, & over-all coolness, lol. When you get your stat points, there's no such thing as too much dexterity, although having a Constitution & Intelligence of at least 20 is mandatory. I made mine 24 each, just to be safe, & it didn't hurt me too badly, lol.

If you've a good tank to hang with (A Temple Knight's the best), you will rule pretty much any map you're on. The Ranger's biggest weakness is you need so much sp for skills, so select carefully, & ignore the personal dungeon skills, really a waste of effort. Max your snare as fast as possible, that is your main stay, & if you're confident in your armor, controlled shooting & pierce are awesome to have, even though Dire Strike looks cool, it doesn't do the damage of those two, but is fun to use in a PK arena. Also, even though power leveling is great, try to take 1 level out of 4 or 5 to sp farm, grind out as much sp as possible, as the high level skills really eat the sp away fast. Also, try to take advantage of sp events & solo parties to speed up the sp gain grind. Some of the best accessories for a Ranger are EoS (Eyes of spirits), SoS (Stone of Shadow), & either CoR (Crest of rainbow), or a good NoW (Necklace of wind).

You're looking for crit hit,hit rate, life suction, & loads of evasion, any armor, acc's, weapons, etc that have evasion on them are very good for you. Now, I've yet to reach the exalted lvl 100+ skills, gear & challenges, but I'll be sure to pass on anything I learn when I do, (say, next Thursday @ 6??), meantime, remember Rangers rule, all others drool!! Except maybe those Healers, gotta love their armor, lol.

NOTE: Now again, it is the person's opinion of which class he would play. Some like to be Knights, some healers, and etc. In this section, the person forgot to note that it costs money to get AP to get a reset card too. If you feel you do not have the money, then continue on your class. You might also ask around on how much gold to buy the reset card. Make sure you do it with someone you trust, because many people want the gold then you never hear from them again. To change Level at L60, is from the time before the Tomb now. Game has changed and strategy changes with it. Just like no one goes to Eghea for the infamous "Demon Parties." Now you can go to the Tomb and level solo now.
