There are different types of skills, all of which have their own strengths and ways of aiding your character. Passive and general skills are class dependent, uniquely tailored for the chosen class of your character. In addition to the general and apssive skills open to your character class, a new set of class skills becomes available to characters that choose to study a specialized profession at or after Level 31. Two professions are available at this stage, and the skills are unique to the abilities associated with the chosen profession. Special skills are open to all classes and cover more general skills such as alchemy and weapon crafting.
