Welcome to the Ultimate Guide Monthly Contest. This section will have the rules, questions, winners, and prizes won. Remember, correct format when you send me an answer.
1. Answers must be turned in by the LAST DAY of each month. Due to lack of interest, November starts with correct answers being a winner, regardless of when being set in. So take your time.All entrants will PM me with the answer and NO ONE will leave answer on this site, and that means MODERATORS stay off. Reason is, if moderator leaves correct answer on this site, then others will pm me with the correct answer, and I would honor the answers, but it will break my pocket book too, LMAO. Anyway, no one put ANY answers on this site. READ THE WIKI. It says, PM me.
2. If I get a correct answer early, then I will award prize on the 26th of the month. If Answer is turned in on or after the 25th of the month, then the prize will be awarded for based on the last day of the month, BOGO awards. They usually offer 3 BOGO prizes or more may be listed. ONLY the first Three prizes will be the ones awarded, based on the award you get. Prizes may be full BOGO, or Half BOGO, at my discretion, depending on how hard the question is.
My intention is not to over award if only one person turns in an answer. Later on, if the responses grows, then prizes WILL get bigger. So I start this out slow and easy (for my pocket book that is). At my discretion, a secondary prize may be awarded. So if only one person gets 4 of 5 right, I may award a secondary prize.
3. The following is the format for sending your answer in to me. Remember, the correct name must not be misspelled. I had a big problem a while back because the person did not put in the right name.

So you can send the answer in either of these two formats. You can have right answer and wrong format and not win. Reason is last contest, it took me a few months to pay out because of a misspelling of the person's
Character.
4. There is only ONE submission and no resending another pm to me to say you must change your answer. Some questions I may state you can send in more answers, but that the LAST answer is the one that will be submitted.
This may be for the tricky ones.
5. Check weekly, as I may add questions as I see fit. Certain questions may have stated prizes also. Like I may ask another question and say the prize will be 100 xpb or whatever. You will note this in the February 2011 question #2
6. Prizes may be stated for certain questions, whereas the bogo prize/40% prize may be forfeit. If a bogo prize/40% item is not stated for that day then the next day Bogo/40% item will be used. Every once in a while, they do not
list for some odd reason.
7. If no one gets an answer right, I will mostly NOT give the answer. Save that one for the December 2011 contest. The February month will be the ONLY time an answer will be given. Hint: I consider a drake to be a dragon now.
8. At times, depending, I may award prizes to close and no cigar answers. Like you listed 7 mobs but got one wrong. I think a small prize for effort will do. Again, do not turn in an answer like Draggon. Misspelling is a wrong answer.
9. If at times, you wish to appeal your answer, I WILL look at it again. Reason is, I am human too and make mistakes. If i see I erred, then you will get something extra for the emotional distress, I have caused you, LMAO. Yes, you
can question me, because I just love to see if i messed up, I do not have an ego problem, But the final answer is with me.
10. December will be the time of giving. All participants for the year, will be given special questions to answer. I will give names of all participants for the year and you can all help each other out or do alone now. Hopefully, i will have
more then a few names. You all will be targeted for the big prizes now. I might use the questions not answered during the year. There may be single and group submissions, that is, you turn in an answer with at least two people in
the group but you all get the same prize as the person who turns in a single answer. Usually in a group mode, you stand more of a chance of getting an answer. .
11, Something new. I will give some EASY questions. Correct answers will earn you UG points. Except when you get 20 or more of them, I will designate prizes you can get. Because easy answers, small prizes to be given out, or
save them up for the BIG ONE. Prizes will be designated as, WORTH 1 UG POINT.
12. Each month you enter the monthly contest, gives you ONE entry for December now. So if you enter every monthly contest, you get about 10 entries and then your buddy only enters ONCE, then he better not complain why you
got more stuff then he did or why you got 3 prizes and he got nothing, LOL But again, drawing will be random as usual. I may say, the total score of a basket ball game, and count from top to bottom or whatever. But it may also be
random selection by PC. Only thing is i have to type in names. I found a program for this. Anyway, wait till DEC to find out.
13. "Catch a Spammer" Contest will be a temporary contest thing now. Reason at times, I might get 6 at once and no way to award prizes for that many caught, LOL. What I will do though, is the FIRST person to let me know the
person who has spammed me. Click updates and to the left you can see who has joined. The spammers are the ones with like 424 words or 566 words added to their profile. If you look at their profile, they may have dating links,
porn links or drug links. DO NOT click them. If the spammer is already Banned, then that does not count. Either I or someone else already caught them. You can get a virus or trojan horse. That is, you can get it where you click,
and then when you sign on to your LC game, they copy the ign name and password. Then when you click off, they will HACK your account.
You can only win ONCE period. The winner will be annotated in that monthly question winner box. Winners are changed so that anyone posting a correct answer, regardless of the time sent will be a winner. Reason, is there are
only a few particpating.
If you are a moderator, DO NOT delete. You do so and then your entry is void. I will delete. What I will do is make this for the first 3 winners and see what happens. After that, I will delete this section now. You must use the format
to send me the name. Use the answer part to put the scammer's name in. And no correct format, no winner. Because when i gift, I will let you know too. Once in a while, gifts do not arrive. I send a gift and people will not get it
for whatever reason. If that happens, I will have to send in RT to get gift and resend. I will pm you and let me know if you DO NOT get it now.

later the correct answer will be given, if NO WINNER. Answer is due by MIDNIGHT, CST, on the day given.

| Question: Prize: TBA | LC has an event. which requires that you go from location to location on ONE server to locate the treasure at certain coordinates. Now you have are on the Dratan server 5 and fullfilled finding the coordinates to the treasure for Dratan. Now everyone is PILED up on the teleporter in Dratan to wait for the coordinates for the next locations where the treasure is to be located. Now as always, you have a jillion players on the teleporter and no matter how you angle the pointer you can not target the teleporter. Question is , what else can you do, besides dcing from the pc? This was an actual event long ago. I just dced and went to Randol and waited. But what else could i have done, which i did do??? Awarded on 16 Mar 11. | Question: Prize: We talking MAJOR prize now. | OK, this question involves THINKING. So you do not have to be knowledgeable of LC rules etc. But this is a problem, that some have in a way. I just changed a few things around. Here is the problem. 1. I got a L157 rogue bow at +10. 2. I have 4 - +17 master stones. 3. I have about 100 rune stones and 100 RoPII to upgrade the weapon. 4. I have got a PRIME STONE. This automatically makes an item +16. 5. So if i can get the weapon to +13 at the minimum, I can make it +17 with the 4 Master Stones. PROBLEM: What is the BEST course of action that I should take now. Remember, Money makes money. What is the BEST course of action to take to upgrade the weapon to the maximum? |
| Answer: | 1. I would look for a plain L157 rogue bow, which are cheap. 2. I would use the Prime Stone of the plain bow to make it +16. No rune stones or RoP wasted to get it to +16 now. 3. I would get 1 +17 master stone, go to NPC in Dratan to get it to +17. 4. I still have the L157 bow +10, which i can now try to upgrade when time permits. 5. Now here are the 3 Options: OPTION 1 - Sell the bow at +10 since I have a +17 bow now. OPTION 2 - Try to upgrade to say +14 then with the 3 remaining master stones I could get weapon up to +17. OPTION 3 - This one is two parts. Save the master stones for a future upgrade. Then second, I could sell the Master Stones if I needed the gold. This depends on the person now. Possible to get an item to +14, then you could get the coveted +15 which is HARD to get now. This is just a possibility now. Again, to me this was the best way to get the bow upgraded and still make money. I can always sell the +10 bow and save the upgrade stuff for other Mondshine armor I might need to upgrade in the future. So get a weapon to +17 fast then just a matter of what YOU want to do with the other stuff now. |

| Question: | Hmmm, seems we got newbie players and no real "Playas." Here is an EASY one and since it is so easy, just a small mini prize. I have a 40" LED TV so i am pretty accurate. Anyway, what are the coordinates for the arenas?? Now I do not want the entrance but if you are standing in the middle and you must be accurate too. HINT: Try putting a big X and try that to measure if you are up to it. Answer must be in correct answer format too. This includes guildies too. This way I might get lucky and disqualify you because you did not use correct format. Also, if correct answers are given and the right anser format is wrong, I will just say you are wrong and no reason given. |

| Question: | I am cutting Green Herb on the Herb Bush. I decide to leave my knight overnight to cut herb. I come back the next morning. My knight is standing up with the the knife in hand still and no herbs were cut. Why not? (There are no PC issues or lagging involved} I have reread the question and again, there was no edits made. | Answer: | Did you know there are TWO kinds of Herb Bush?? The Magical Herb bush and the Herb bush itself. Now when you cut from the Magical Herb Bush it NEVER disappears. If you cut from the Herb bush, it disappears after you get your 27 herb from it, and shortly reappears. This is what happened (true story). In the beginning, I would have my RK cut herbs overnight. So one day, I set him up cutting on a HERB BUSH and the next day he was just standing there with no herbs and the knife about 10% used. Someone had come to my herb bush and cut herb using a Tool Aid. Then the bush disappears and I stop. When the bush reappears, i am still standing there. Then I learned WHAT the magical bush was. So after that I cut on the magical bush and never had the problem again. FYI, did not last long as I learned what tool aids were too. |

| Question: | OK, everyone plays and no one reads. Here is a question but since THIS is supposedly easy only a very mini prize. I mean, how easy can the questions gets. There are two characters, a knight and a rogue. They both set up merchant mode selling the exact same thing. They are only selling L12 Magic Defense minerals for 1 million each. They are only selling 100 of them. The next day the Knight checks his inventory and he made 100 million gold. The rogue checks his inventory and he made less gold then the Knight. HOW COME? (They both had 0 gold in their inventory.) Their was no lagging, no hacking, no pc issues, no transfer of gold or no donuts involved now?? |

| Answer: | OK, Answers closed on this one now. Reason i give the answer, is that TWO people sent in an answer. Then they BOTH sent in like a few minutes later the CORRECT answer. The rules state the FIRST reply is the one i count, and it states when you send in the 2d reply to correct the first one, that will not count, Read the rules again as they have been there. You see they both realized, too late, that there are TWO storekeepers. One In Randol and one in Dratan. So if you sent in one coordinate I was able to tell you, you had the wrong answer. What I was looking for REALLY was that you KNEW the other storekeeper. The coordinates were nice to have of course, but then i could not say give me the coordinates of the two storekeepers. I made you see the forest and not the trees. These questions are on the surface easy but HARD. Remember, when you see the question and think you got the answer, WAIT a week or so before you turn it in. Even when you THINK it is easy, most of the questions never are. Remember, if you were LUCKY to get the answer on the first day, you do not get the prize till the end of the month. So be patient. Now when December comes, there will be some questions given, that will be first answer in wins. But until then. |

| Answer | OK, here is a quirky answer. The answer would have been ANYTHING barely over 150%. At 150%, you can not pick up any more. Now what you do, is to get yourself to this weight limit. Now take off your armor and your weight limit goes OVER 150%. Now the biggest weight over would be from say a Knight or titan since they have heavy armor. AGAIN, the Deadline people. |
