Last Chaos Quests

There are different types of quests in Last Chaos requiring different objectives. Below are the types of quests you will come across:

Fetch and Run or Messenger Quests
To complete these quests, you will be asked to deliver a letter, pass on information, or talk to another NPC.

Kill and Gather Quests
For these quests you are asked to hunt a certain mob in order to obtain a set number and type of items. For instance, you could be asked to hunt jaguars to obtain ten jaguar claws. As you kill jaguars, a message will appear at the top of the screen each time you receive a claw. These items are not Drop Items and will most likely appear in your "Quest Inventory". If you are gathering jaguar claws and a jaguar "drops" a jaguar claw that you "pick up", it does not go towards your quest count and will not be removed from your inventory upon completing the quest. Often, these quests are repeatable, lasting two or three levels, allowing you to reap rewards multiple times.

Kill and Retrieve Quests
These quests can be some of the most frustrating quests in the game (the most notorious being the soft sand quests(with the new Dratan this appears to have changed, Sand Golems drop soft sand like its nobodies business now)). Like the Kill and Gather quests, these quests require you to hunt certain mobs in order to gain certain items. However, unlike the Kill and Gather quests, the items you need to retrieve are "monster drops" and will appear in your character's inventory. For example, you could be asked to retrieve five Harpy tears. As you kill Harpies, they have the chance to drop Harpy tears. Some of these "quest drops" are notoriously rare and the rate of these drops is based almost entirely on luck. Hardest drop quest in Juno is probably horned beast eyes. Cracked Axes is pretty tough in Dratan, too.(or at least were, don't know since change to Dratan)

Pet Acquisition Quests
There are two Pet Acquisition quests in Last Chaos, one for the Drake and one for the Horse. To obtain one or both of these quests, you will need to have a pan flute for the horse and a drake egg for the drake. When you have one or both of these items, you will receive a pop-up quest at the side of the screen, allowing you to get the pet quest.
