Smelting Stones

Really beleive him when he says that smelting stone have a 30 % success rate. ( Its probably less truth be known. ) Never upgrade anything past + 3 because it WILL NOT work. Even if you go to the most secluded spot in Juno, (NorthWest of the map) They wont upgrade. I had to spend around 650k today on armour and smelting stones because i tried to take my +3 armour to +4. Save yourself money, use a heavenstone./\|/\ TwilightAssassin /\|/\ /\|/\ Fight To The Death Or Die Trying/\|/\ 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

Actually, i have gotten armor to +4 with the smelting stone, but ONLY at low levels like level 21 where weapons are CHEAP to buy. Remember using weapons gets you TWO smelting stones. And just a reminder to everyone, always come back and reread the materials till you can have it memorized. Like I had read about evasion armor, but took me a while till now to fully realize what the evasion armor is all about. Will take you a while to figure out about smelting stones and such.Thanks for reading though. I might add, it was not till I got to weapon level 37 that i tried to really upgrade, otherwise i just used +4 weapons. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

where can I get 'Insurance of Smelting Stone'??? so that I can get an expensive weapon over +3 definitively. Also, is it outrageously expensive? anybody please help!

You go to the item malls to get the Runes of Protection. Unless, your uncle is Donald Trump they are expensive. I had one GM tell me that one guy like over $2000 to get all his armor to +15. Yea, this game can get addictive, I know. But if you follow my tips in the Strategy Guide for upgrading with Heaven stones, then that will be a way lot cheaper too. The trick is in this game there are 3 things you do. Level, shop, and sell. Pet traaining is in the shop category by the way. At times i was shopping more then leveling to get the gold i needed to buy heaven stones. I had to work on my mobile home and in one month I was nearly 24/7 shopping. At times, I would go to the bogles real fast and using LS and IDBs, stock up on armor to sell. I made enough in one month to buy two SoS, in the Sarissa Server. If I had been playing, it might have taken me at least 4 months minimum. I would shop around then go to merchant mode. Then when I had a break, I would go to mm to stock up if need be.So getting a rune of protection will cost you major coin. The trick is with the lower weapons you could buy them up to say level 13 and use a cover to get the coveted +15. Weapon and armor covers last for 30 days now. BUT you can not cover the armor from Level 75 on up. That is where the guy got his +15 armor now. When I got up there, was when i finally did not have +15 armor. But you can use Refining stones now to get up to +16 now, but then only for 24 hours now. BTW, the Insurance of Smelting Stones are called the Runes of Protection. RoP I is like $4 and then RoP II is like $6 (599 ap) but you get the dollar amount. Of course, I know one guy, who said his GF bought some for him cuz she wanted him to have +15 weapon. Hmmm, i wish I had a GF like that, lol. Do you find this valuable? |

I've upgraded lvl41 weapons to +8 with smelts, however, I've lvl 3 Master Weaponsmith, & only try it during upgrade events, & yes, I've lost a few weapons, lol. I'm also a master armoursmith, & I've had about the same luck up to lvl 45 armour, but I haven't run over +5 with the armour, & I'm too concerned to risk it. I don't know if having those special skills maxed helped, but it definately didn't hurt, other than the huge sp it cost me.

Cats out of the Bag. I forgot to mention and or post. If you have upgrade boxes, you click this to hope for a RoP right. How about stacking the odds in your favor now? Now i do not call it cheating as I call it Strategy. Before you click, the Upgrade Boxes, put your weight at 149.90. Then you will not get the other stuff cuz it weighs too much. Try it, you will like it. LOL

i have manage to get a lvl 33 weapon to +6 using only smelting stones and also a lvl 29 weapon to +7 using only smelting stones without usin any RoP or heaven stones and the char that done this didn't even have basic weapon smithing

Well you are lucky now. Actually, I tell people you have to remember, what I say today may get changed by the next patch. I have noticed that at times i will not get any HS, then after patch, they are falling like candy. LOL They might have changed the percentage with the smelting stones too. But you will never know it as they do not tell you stuff like that. I was pet leveling in the jail, like forever, then quit a few months. I went back in 2 weeks ago and got killed. The canines are hitting harder or something. LOL But i like a challenge. What is bad, is that i had the +10 armor on and should have had no problem, but who knows. Good luck with the smelting stones. I am not as brave as you. At my level, I have to use RoP as good weapons and armor are hard to come by. Do you find this valuable? |

well to be honest i think i was just lucky because after i done them 2 weapons i tried a third and could not get it past +4
