Choosing a Rogue Sub-Class
Jul 15 2008, 9:25 PM EDT
When you choose your rogue's second or Sub-Class at level 31, she will have the ability of eaith long range cross-bow attack (Hunter) or a close range and physical dagger attack (Assassin.)Choose wisely on your new class, for it will effect your character dramaticly throughout the game, giving her either greater defense, or greater phyisical attack. An assasin will be the better choice if you prefer very high quality physical attack, you should choose the Assassin, but if you prefer to keep life longer, but have less attack power, your choice should be the Hunter. 20 out of 23 found this valuable. That is a gimme. You would change to the Hunter. With a bow you get in a few shots before any mob attacks you and that negates the assassins hits then. Plus since most of the time if you are in a party, you will get killed less cuz you are further away.

sorry it dont work like that. If that was the case then no one would ever die. Some things are nice to say now but when you get to playing it is a whole new ballpark then.

wellso you are saying that if a beast is about to kill you then you shouldnt run?? then you are pretty much destined to die and lose all the xp and sp its different when fighting people though, yes there, you fight till you die just to prove you arent a wimp, hehe 0 out of 3 found this valuable. no what he is saying is that when you are actually ifghting a monster it is a different story... i can solo bogles but when im fightning then sometimes i get careless and i have 1k health left they get me in like 3 hits... or you try to run away but you are stuck in the middle of and attack and you die,,,, or you get hit from a distance since they dont have to be RIGHT next to you to hit you... and in bad scenarios you get are just about to kill the monster and you think you have just enough helath left but you take more damage than you would have anticipated.

Yea, IKOUP, You can lead a horse to water, but I will drink if the horse dont. lol Well DeathMatch when you get to like level 50 or so, and have a couple of notches on your weapon then you will understand what i am saying. Like me trying to tell you how to drive. I can give you the basics but experience will be the best teacher. In other words, I tell some people I pm to. Just do what I say, and later you might figure out what I am saying. Like One person, I told to not join any party, but solo or combat, no power leveling, just basically sp farming until the class change. Same with mobs. When you fight the white name ones they are usually no problems. But if you are going after a red named mob, cuz it is the one to drop your type of armor you want, THEN you will see what I meant. Took me a whole year to figure that one out, lol.

Yea, ICOUP, but when i started in Apr 07, I was like everyone else, just slugging it out and reading the forums here and there. If I would have had this guide, i would have leveled way lots faster, lmao. But no biggie. If I can help others so be it.
