Silver borders

Ok, so I'm now sp farming in one of the best places in Iris, The Prokion temple, but while I was fighting, I found out that some types of mobs, (at the moment all I've discovered is the Ghoul and the Orc Soldier) Have a silver border around their name plate. After asking well over 100 skilled players, they all said something along the lines of this: The silver borders shouldn't be found on Ghouls and Orc soldiers because they indicate that that certain mob is a boss. What does the silver border indicate? Also, My second almost as important question is this: Did the silver border replace the old dragon border that indicated that that mob gave you a higher rate of getting a rare item?

i know that the silver border does meen that the creature is a boss creature or a leader creature... it does not mean for certain that the creature has to be a boss I.E. Kamira, GRD,GGD. those are bosses while in some classes there are Elite forms of the creature I.E. Elite poison mist as opposed to poison mists. I did notice the orc seargeants have silver borders. This simply means they give more exp/sp for killing them at the cost of being a bit harder than the rest of their counterparts. Hope this clears things up!

oh and about the dragon borders. I have never personally seen one. Maybe it was an earlier event, maybe it was in a previous patch. Either way they no longer exist to my knowledge. 5fingers will be able to clarify dragon borders when he gets on.

Dragon borders were the earlier versions of the silver border in the first couple years of LC.

The first couple of years of LC, LMAO. That was good. Come around Sep 08 will be 2 years of LC, officially, not counting beta time now. It was in Sep 06 when they first started. Anyway, I tell people , ADAPT ADAPT ADAPT. What was yesterday rules are not rules today. The silver borders are to indicate what I call Mini Bosses now. lol They have them for the mobs in Dratan as you will see, called Elite. They changed the boss signia and maybe two years from now it may change again, hmmm, fairy pink, even. lol If anyone goes in the temple how about getting some sp and xp notes on some of the mobs in there. I heard from someone else that you can get more then 1100 sp in the temple. I know in the Egeha Tour with the Flare I was getting like 3k and then with boosters and such it was like 18k but then it was a boss mob too. But to clarify, when a mob is a boss for its level, it is just harder to kill now. Some people were under the impression that a level 30 boss was tantamount to killing a GRD. But I like the extra sp and hp now. Anyway, I hope this helps now. LC puts out a lot of stuff and they do not really explain nothing. You have to end up most of the time going out and find out the hard way. Like after Maintenance every Tuesday, you never know what was changed till it happens. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. In response to what you heard from the person about the sp, A monster matching your exact level will give you an sp experience of 5500, if a monster is white in name, but does not match your level, (no matter if its higher or lower than your level) It will give you 4950 sp experience. (This is for the elite monsters only, all others will give you around 4000 sp experience while they're white, 3000 when they're green, and 2000 when they're blue.) Hope this helps a lot of people and the site!

lol that is absolutley not true. Nothing i fight gives me anymore than 1200 sp no matter who it is.

After Adapt, adapt, adapt, is read, read, read, lmao. The temple monsters are supposed to giving more sp and xp now. When IKOUP gets there he will lets us know. lol I never would have know until someone told me. Like I said, a lot of stuff is changing now.

Just ran all mobs in prokien as level 24 the xp/sp split is as follows: (listed mob/color/xp/sp) mummie/green/2591/2750 - ghoul/blue/336/2750 - orc soldier/white/10094/4950 - orc fighter/white/11979/5225 - orc axemen/yellow/12837/4675 - orc sargent/yellow/18969/4125. Think there may be an event going on but if it is double for both xp and sp the numbers here say that they will still be pretty high once event is over. IKOUP, what's your level that your only getting 1200sp?

Well weavie123 and 4, lol, close but no cigar. When you get the sp and xp now it has to be from the monster when you are both at same level now. Those stats are the ones posted now. If they are yellow, then i do not need stats on that. Just that someone mentioned in the forum that the xp and sp were higher in the temple. But i wonder if the person got them during an event going on and did not know it.

wasn't looking for a cigar and really don't understand why you even put that i there. only thing I was trying to show is there are more points in Prokien than elsewhere. it appeared no one else was even looking and I was just trying to report what was there as that was where I was. At the time I got these numbers i was level 24 and there was an event going on, 200%xp and 150%sp, so cut the xp in half and take 1/3 off the sp and you still get good numbers. I stayed at Prokien for next 3 levels and numbers did not drop much, actually sp went up for sarges due to change in color from yellow to white. By the time I was done I was sitting on almost 700 sp. Pet went from level 14 to level 18 too. Had help there though with a pill. As far as getting numbers only with mobs at same level. That's fine and dandy but doesn't anyone want to know what they are at all levels? Or is that not important? I know if I am any certain level and someone gave me a list of points available or any other tip for that level at a given spot and it helped me get more points I would just say thanks and try to return the favor at a later time.

The fastest way is a combo of stuff from xp to buying weapons and armor. But you need playing experience. Like me telling you how to drive a race car but you will still need the experience to understand what i am talking about. Basically, just hit white, yellow, and red names. Be in a SOLO PARTY all the time. But the combat party is the best though. Actually if you find a certain spot to kill monsters you could have your buddy get with you in combat mode. Then he can leech off of you the xp and sp. But the catch is you will be getting a little more xp then solo. Then only about one half the sp if that much. But you want to level and not worry about sp now/ Then if you can find someone to power level you. You could join in a party with a player about say 15 levels higher in an equal party.
