Getting xp quick
Jul 28 2008, 6:20 PM EDT ok i am lvl 32 trying to do some quick lvl ups, i have been sp farming for a while and i train on orc sargeants, and it takes me like 2 hours just to get 50%. i was wondering where or what to train on, because i cant always go to egeha... 16 out of 42 found this valuable. Aug 1 2008, 2:38 AM EDT Well you can do like i did. You need some high lvl ppl and do Demon Parties. We would take at least 3 rogues, a Healer, a high lvl knight to lure and we were getting around 290k to 340k exp per kill. There is also one thing skin walkers WILL KILL YOU ALL RUN!!!! lol Anyway that is what i did and i went from lvl 33 to lvl 35 in like 2 hours. then as you get high you can drop the amount of ppl. I think that I 4 person party get like 600k a peice. 13 out of 22 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 2 2008, 2:25 AM EDT WarBreeze you did not quite answer his question, lol. Anyway, go to the Monster Guide and find out the level of monster for your level now. Yea, them Demon Parties will spoil a guy rotten. (and I iz rotten to the core, too LMAO) If you can not go to Eghea make sure you are in solo party now. And yes, that is about right for the time to get the xp. What it is, is after Eghea, people want to make a level a day now, lol. Before Eghea, I was level 40 training on gnoll sergeants (I think), anyway, I was getting 0.03% a kill and that meant like a WHOLE week just to level. But that was the norm before Eghea. Just look at the list now. 9 out of 15 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sep 2 2008, 5:40 AM EDT If you can't get to egeha, you could do the Jail in Merac, but only the FIRST ROOM! stay to one corner so you don't get swamped. When we (my guild InfinityCircle) were around that level we'd go in parties and just own that area...was fast leveling in a group because you can kill so fast in a party. 9 out of 13 found this valuable. Sep 2 2008, 12:29 PM EDT Just remember when you level in the earlier levels it was faster to level. Then every level you go to it takes longer, and longer to level. So when you reach level 60, DON'T expect to level in a hour or two now. Wait till you get to level 90. To level to level 90 is 1 billion xp then to level 91 is 6 billion. Then to level 96 it doubles to 12 billion. Now the guys that leveled, as you see it fast, to levels 90 - level 105 spend MAJOR bucks on plat iris and xp boosters. So just remember when you ever get to level 60 now it will take longer then a couple of hours to level now. But keep abreast of what you need on skills now to sp farm now and also what to kill to get max xp too. 6 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sep 2 2008, 3:29 PM EDT Aight thank you all for the help i am now a lvl 35 knight(havent been on that much still) but i think that it is all great advice, but what i did was if i couldntget to eggy, then i went to ether highlanders, or poison mist. the thing is iknow alotta high lvl ppl so i cant eggy with them or i get capped. but mistic i am a knight so not a healer, I did sp farm at a low lvl i got like 8k o sp. so i think ill be ok. uhm heyy 5fingers, do u play on sarissa? because i saw a guild named fivefingers so i was jw lol. i have an account on almost all servers but mostly Sarissa. uhm i did start a new Sorcerer, witch i wish that was my first account, because of the way i learned meh skills and placed meh stat points, i killed a lvl 31 knight at lvl 22 with sd, so i think sorcerers are extremely good. but always ask ur gm at low lvls to exp lock u for farming, helps alot 1 out of 5 found this valuable. Sep 3 2008, 10:38 AM EDT Well dont be a sorcerer but be a mage. Long story but if you have the same at like level 90, the mage is bettter. At low levels they suck, but once they get higher the Mage is the main man at high levels now. But then again, the next patch might change that but so far, the Mage has a slight edge now. Remember, Read all my "Strategy Tips" that I have now in that section. Then more then once. This will give you the feel of the game. Like at low levels you really are not aware of the importance of sp at low levels now. Until you get higher. Then if you read the stuff here, you will sp farm at the Prokion and Velpist Temples. Then if you save the sp, then you can just level away or power level if need be. Now if you get to Egeha, you can level on the Devil's Grave now. You will find you a spot where the mob is not around to save a spot near one. Read the LC forum on how to get FREE sp now. Then when you get to Level 70 you might want to do a sp reset on your sikills. For example, you can get the few sp from the Dungeon Skill. make sure you max that skill, cuz in the Ajaka Canyon at the end when you fight the Blood Mistress Kamira, you might get lucky and get a +4 weapon drop to sell for cash. Sep 3 2008, 3:02 PM EDT Thank you so much for the help man, on meh knight i got to the kimera(atlvl 33) but i got destroyed lol, uhmm i already have many accounts (4 on sarissa, 2 on carie,1 on hatz, so im a bit everywhere) and i already have a mage that yes they are amazing at higher lvls. but only if u use them correctly. Uhm i have a pretty beast Sorcerer that i got tolvl 29 in 3 days (2 days of sp farming) and i got 4k of sp now but i will get sp as i lvl 2, but i love the sorcerers at all times, i have some equipment that i got from meh knight so i am doing uber damage just by myself, and with 2 lvl 5 spirits i can pk a lvl 35-37 character(trust meh i know from Self Defense) but they are good in all. Strongy recommended. uhm i am leveling decently, which i am about to SP farm again, then power lvl. but i have been to devils grave b4 so thnk u of reminding me of that! 2 out of 5 found this valuable. Sep 4 2008, 12:58 PM EDT well the trick now is to try to play on one character if you want to get REALLY high. But then that is a matter of playing style too. Some people like to play a few all the time leveling them as they go along. Me, myself, I just had one main that I concentrated on. My philosophy is that I would rather have a level 60 knight then 4 level 35 characters. But like I said, some like to play with them all. But that is good, cuz then you will be more of an expert on all the classes. Myself, I can only really comment on Knights and rogue now. I kind of know what the other classes do, but that is just from reading your comments and others. Here is the trick on the Kamira now. Once you finish the level before you get to the Kamira, you first of course regen all your hp and mp. The trick is to put your heal potions on one of the f keys. That when when you are attacking the Kamira, you can just hit the f key to get heal yourself. You have to go straight for the Kamira and ignore the rest of the mobs. Also, it will require a lot of large heal potions too. Then if not, wait till you get another level or two and try again. Remember, a lot depends on armor, weapons, and heal/mana potions. That is one reason you MAX the characters dungeon skill to level 5. You will need the level 5 dungeon skill when you get to the level 4 of the personal dungeon now. The trick is when this certain monster comes out, I will get the name later, but it is the one from level 3 of the jail. It shoots like magic fireballs at you and from a distance. The trick is to engage them as soon as you see them. At the first time, you will get killed but notice your score. They come out when you , for example, the score gets around 90. But find out. but READ the strategy guide. 5 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sep 6 2008, 12:52 PM EDT I looked it up as "beast hunter" did not ring a bell. It is the "Beast Crawler" that is also located in level 3 and level 4 of the jail. You have a quest in which you have to kill the Beast Crawler to get something like a ring I think. Anyway, the trick is to go to level 4 as I got my butt, kicked, creamed, and came back for seconds, in trying to kill the beast crawler in level 3 of the jail. LMAO You will get killed my them them in level 4 of the personal dungeon in Randol. But the trick is to remember the number count of the monsters you have killed. Once you do this you are prepared for them. You will keep a look out and then when they first appear, they are the first onces to kill as the other monsters are gravy. That is once you get high enough level now. Be worth the HSs to win now to get the lowest time scrore. I got the lowest score one time but no reward. I need to go to the forum and ash is the lowest score for that server or what. Anyway, have fun. 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sep 9 2008, 8:13 PM EDT yeah i do think that i am going to be making my sorcerer my main, i have been sp farming for a little while now, but i dont have as much as i need yet, but when i do the problem would be leveling, i can never get a demon party or anything, so i may just keep my exp locked for my guild, then when i have enough sp, i will go to highlanders or something and mob them up a bit. 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Sep 19 2008, 1:09 PM EDT I was looking up beast hunter and saw it was the beast crawler and I think the name was changed but do not know which one is right now. Same creature. I think on the quest I checked it out it was beast hunter then I checked my pic and it was beast crawler. Well, When I get to level 40 in about 4 months from now, I will check it out, lol Now if someone can go to the 3d level jail and let me know if there are beast crawlers or beast hunters there so that way I can correct the mob picture. Of course when the patches comes in, I usually learn from everyone else what is going on now. Hard to keep up with everything. I heard the Grand Gold Dragon was changed to the Grand 24k Dragon, but then that was a rumor I heard, lmao. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
