What's the best time to switch to the next level armor? I never seem to get drops for my class (titan) so I have to purchase armor. Being able to upgrade armor means I don't have to buy very often but I'm wondering when the best times to do this are. Is it basically by feel? After upgrading so far when you start to struggle look for the best you can buy and switch to it and start upgrading all over again? Just looking for thoughts on this. Do you find this valuable?

Ok, remember that you can wear armor 5 levels up now. If you wear it before, you will get a penalty now. Do NOT be fooled by the stats. The penalty is "Invisible." In other words, you will not see any numbers on it, telling you your defense is lowered.

The best time to switch is when you are able to use it. So when you reach level 30, you can don the level 35 gloves. Do so right away.

Just a tip too. Armor is hard to get from level 50 to level 60. Level 45 armor is a little hard to get. Weapons are rare from level 49 - level 61 also. So be prepared for a long armor drought, lol. Because I knew this, I was shopping for level 50 armor when I was around level 30. Go shopping so you can get a feel of the prices for manuals or armor now. What i ended up doing was wearing, level 50-52 armor till I was able to get to level 60. TIP - Bogles are great for knights and rogues to get a full set, plus make some extra cash on the side for the other armor drops you can get, using lucky scrolls and idb.

Go to strategy guide and look up my tips for upgrading. I had +15 weapons (using gang outfit and Bonus Book of melding to get the +15) and this worked for the armor too. Do you find this valuable?

I was went from armor sets 30> to 40-42 +6- 50-52+6 60-62+6 77-?? ( i forget) +10i jumped armor sets about every 10 lvls. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, seems I'm upgrading about every 10 levels for now. At level 28 and wearing full Asura except Beserker gauntlets. I guess I'll just play it by feel and continue. If I start to have major problems I'll make sure to get the best I can for whatever level I am.

On a side note, what would the going rate be on a Spirit Murderer +3 (i know i know, why waste heaven stones on that? :) ). Do you find this valuable?

well, it always depemds on witch server. If you are playing on the haztring server i would say 1 mil-1.5 mil would be a good going price on it. Of course this is just what i think. Do you find this valuable?

heh, thanks, fairly new to the whole merchant deal so didn't want people to think i'm running some kind of scam or something if i low-ball it. :)

i usually play on katar-5. don't want to worry about PvP until i'm a bit higher in level. :) i know how people like to blast you with no warning. Do you find this valuable?
