This technique failed on me 7 times in a row and ruined my level 41 weapon 7 times. These aren't easy to find to keep trying this guys method. It's costed me out my yin yang to try his method. I tried it every way mentioned, it doesn't work. IF YOU DON'T WANNA LSE YOUR WEAPN OR ARMOR PIECE, USE RUNES FOLKS!!! 8  out of 16 found this valuable. Do you?

ok, whose method now, lol. Hmmm, funny I gave what advice i did to get my weapons upgraded. Used the basically late at knight and on a slow server, and without nothing on radar. I used the guild hall or toward the south of randol toward the edge of the map where no monsters or nothing was on the radar.

Hmmm, who knows. Sorry to hear what happened to you. Now Runes are TOO expensive just to get a plus weapon now. Cheaper just to buy a plussed weapon if anything. Runes 1 are 499 ap and Runes II are 699ap. Technically, it would be cheaper to buy stuff in the mall to get the gold to buy a weapon now. Runes are no guarantee to get +15 only not to break.

Now, when I get up to level 37 again, I will try my upgrading techniques. Remember, as I have stated various times be flexible. Every patch they change the rules and odds. I went to level 29 and only got 3 hs for drops. I remember under old system last year, I definitely would have had 10 times more hs drops. I got another level 26 knight and only 2 hs drops. LC changes every patch. Even the LC GMs do not know what they do.

I had to change the level 12 Sasquatch sp farming as that is obsolete now. Maybe my techniques may be obsolete too. LC might have changed the odds to force people to buy runes now. Well when I get up there in a couple of months I shall check it out.

Hmmm, I went to the section on upgrading with HS. Seems there is a part about being patient and if it is a bad day to come back later. Also, I noted that I got two items upgrade then the 3d one was destroyed. Anyway, if you read that section thoroughly, i do say thinks like wait, do it another day and some days are good and some are bad.

But I will still ask and see what everyone is doing as far as upgrading now. Remember, things change and you have to be flexible/

PS. If you want to make GOLD and be rich, Do like I am doing. Hunt Pumpkins till the event is over. Every day redeem your pumpkins. Reason is, cuz if you save and then event ends you are stuck with the pumpkins. So redeem every day. You can sell the items from the pumpkin. I redeemed 50 pumpkins and got approximately 17.5 mill worth of items. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Ha! I used 4 Rops on my +14 knight event wep! It all failed! And my wep went to +10 in end lmfao Do you find this valuable?

Yea Tony I have had SO many pms to me and i tell them READ. If a weapon breaks or ruins twice on me, I quit for the day. You have to do the upgrades enough to know when it is HOT. Like a few weeks ago. 4 - +14 weapons on nothing but HS. I have found out you better have a RoP for the +15. I had some people say that going to +15 would never get ruined. I dont believe this. I put RoP on anyway and it gets ruined anyway. Lucky I do not listen and do all that is told to me, LOL.

Anyway, you will see the upgrades are like everything else, in cycles. This last upgrade I could not get to +13 and went twice and failed. So I stopped. I did not have nothing else to upgrade. Sometimes, even at 200% upgrade event, upgrades may only go to +13, they may ruin a weapon early, or let you go to +14. I got my +15 in one event. Took me 5 tries and 3 armor pieces were +15. Then seemed to dry up. So I quit. The rule is patient. I do say if you ruin twice, QUIT. But some people are like the Las Vegas gambler thinking that, This time I can get it. LOL

If i try for r+15 and fail twice, I quit. For me 2 is the rule. Then with a +14, I can use Plat Refining Stones on them. Now this next is my theory and strategy. It is better in the long run to get +14 and buy the +15 weapon for my use. I think I have wasted more RoPs to get a +15. So now i buy my weapon and get others to +14 for use or sale now. There are a lot of people who brag that they have +15 armor and weapons, but what they dont tell you is that some put some BIG money into too. More money then I spend on ap in a year too. But they will not tell you that either.

Think about the costs of RoPII versus buying the +15 weapon. And remember, most of the time you can get your money back or even make a profit off the weapon too. For me, i will really not try for +15 again. Buying is easier and more profitable. But again, this is the strategy I use. Do you find this valuable?

Or best yet....be patient and wait for an Upgrade Event !! They seem to occur fairly often and you cant beat 150-200% !! :D Do you find this valuable?

While I do always wait for an upgrade event the 150%-200% sometimes seems to make 0% difference and I break my item. Other times I have gone straight to +15 without the protection of runes. Sometimes you're hot, sometimes you're not. If I fail once I stop and try again another day. 5fingers is right. It is more profitable to buy +15 gear vs getting the RoPII to upgrade your own. I also try to upgrade 2 of the same items. Get one of them plussed a bit then work on the other, if one breaks I have the other to fall back on. Do you find this valuable?

Im still just a measly lv 30 so I dont really understand the need for +15's yet as higher level gear is so easy to get....when does upgrading become a neccessity?? Do you find this valuable?
