would my graphic card work

Hello i have just bought myself a new GeForce 8400 GS graphics card. I see that you had this graphic card did this graphic card run GOOD on last chaos in low setting. i have a del dimensions 3100 i ahve not updated anything else in my pc it has windows but i just bought my new graphics card do will this work in last chaos with VERY less amount of lagg. Please replyThank you. Do you find this valuable?

Hey.I didnt understood your question clearly because you did some mistakes.. can you write your question more clearly? Mybe this information will help you: I have GeForce 8600GT and its work great on even high details, Its having no lags at all at the hours that are good for me (with less people). How your lags is affect the game? I mean like you attacking a monster and it start hitting him only some seconds after, you cannt see NPC or monsters, when you talking with NPC the window is opened only after few seconds? Tell how does the lags looks like and I will try to help.. Do you find this valuable? |

The GeForce 8400 gs is the one that came with me pc along with 3mb of memory. The Dimension 3100 has the basic 512 Mb of memory. So I looked up real quick and also saw that you can get a max of 2 Gb of memory now. You have two slots for memory. Basically, you save money to get 1 Gb and then replace of of the memory slots there to give you 1.25 Mb of memory then later when money allows replace the other 256 Mb memory card. Normally when they come with 512 Mb of memory, it will be two = 256 Mb memory cards. Just a matter of taking one out and then replacing the 1 Gb Memory card. The GeForce 8400 GS is a good, low end, graphics card. Enough to beat the integrated graphics card that comes with your pc. It should help a little on the lag now as far as displaying colors and such. I hope you did not get this card because I am using one. Mine came with the pc i bought. It will be good for older games and with LC it is ok, but i also have the 3 Gb of memory too. I plan later (like in about 6 months) to buy a better video card. They have one card with 1Gb of memory but I will wait and see what happens. The pc you have is not a high end pc now. I was reading the reviews on it. It uses a P4 chip and I figure 5 years from now, it will be time to buy another pc it you plan to play othr games besides LC, lol. I have a Intel Core 2 quad processor and that helps. I know the card will help some with the LC game. Now later see what buying more memory for your pc will cost you. I had 1Gb and a decent video card in my old pc but still got lag. It was a P4 chip too. Now if you get lag somewhat then it means you need to get a little bit more memory. LC is a memory intense game. But the card should help a little with lag now. If you are still getting a little lag, then u will need more memory now. Do you find this valuable? |
