Dying when disconnected

My question to you is, why when i lock up or get disconnected do i always die, esc key won't work shutting down does not stop me from dying when computer locks up. Is there any way to stop dying when my machine locks up or dc'd? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yea and another thing I FORGOT. Did you know when you get dc, for example, you are still in the game. That is why sometimes when you try to log in, it says something like character on line. The reason I know this, is this buddy of mine was in mm. We were talking and he said he got dc. But his character was still there. It did not disappear till he tried to log in. So that explains why your pet dies when you log off. Like when you are lagging. We killed this demon in Egeha and the other person, who was lagging, was still hitting away at empty air, lol. Of course, when the lag disappears, the monster is gone as the party is, and we are on another demon. Get used to it. The only thing i would like to know if there is a time limit when you dc that your character still stays on line. I know it can not be long, but then I am the curious type too.

Got dciconnected yesterday and when I log back in I found that I lost 4-5% exp. That was not diyng, because I eas in 100% health when dced and 100% health when logged on aggain and my resurection scroll was not used up. Tis is the first time I noticed lost xp when dced. I wander if I was loosing xp before when I was dced. As 5fingers said in one post dying (in this case loosing xp when dced) is actually loosing game time. Sad. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Now there is a little "trivia" that i like to know. Before when I died, I never had the resurrection scroll on. So i PRESUMED since i was still in the game when i dced that was why i lost xp. So now with a scroll on and no xp lost, that makes it a different ballpark now. Good to put in one of my notes.

Also, i have had my Resurrection Scroll on and have got dc like 5 times in one day and believe me, I would notice any xp loss. LOL But as of yet i have not lost any xp yet. Maybe a quirk??? Like once in a blue moon, I will be fighting and all of a sudden get the teleport glitch. The one where you can like not move more then 100 feet and you get teleported back to the same spot again and can not leave that section you are in.

Well, I will make a note of it. And forget about complaining to Aeria about it. They will never give you your xp back. That's a fact, Jack. lol I am still complaining after NINE months that I can not get my weaponsmith skills. So for now, you will have to live with it. All you must have been low level, cuz the losses are 5%, 3%, then either 2%or1%, when you reach certain levels. But at level 13, say you lose 5% it is easy to get it back. BUT at higher levels like I think level 40 on up, it might cost you an hour of playing time. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I'm not even thinking of complaining. Just wanted to vent out and this topic sounded as the right one =] Do you find this valuable?

Best to complain about anything. That way, you will know how the game is. Like someone pm me about they were getting dc all the time going to Dratan. I told them that is was a game glitch not his pc. Aeria was aware of it and they FINALLY fixed it.

So any complaints about game or wiki, put it here. Some people complain about some of my notes, but impossible for me to keep everything up to date. When they do i try to edit as some stuff is obsolete now. Like leveling on Level 12 Sasquatch and I do not know how I missed that.

If you Rascalloni reply about my wiki, you can say anything you want about me or anyone as long as the profanity is left out. I would not ban him, cuz all opinions are theirs. Poor delusional guy. The LC game has a lot of bugs and the GMs do not know everything about the game either. I found that out. Then to say my wiki is behind and then i know he did not read my intro, cuz i state it their. So who knows. Probably jealous or a little kid for that matter.

If you read the wiki and find something wrong or need an explanation. Put it here. I correct it so then the next person will read it and NOT ask me about it. Then later I will make a note in the wiki about the dying and dc part.

Anyway, go complain, beg, borrow, or steal about the wiki, but you still can not have my Bud Lite, LOL

Whoever complains about this wiki - just ignir him/her.
You are doing very good job mantaning this as a HOBBY!
I'm reading your wiki and i find usefull stuff that I did not know even after my 2 months in the game.
I can benefit from your experience.

Wow this was posted about a year ago and it's still happening? :/ It's extremely frustrating using a pssp and like 200 sp boosters and getting d/c just to have all that accumulated SP gone when you sign back on. I got disconnected 5 times today and each one cost about 800 SP... goodbye 800 spb and 2 pssp >:o Do you find this valuable?

For JishCampbell. you know what i would do if it is still happening. play 30 minutes then relog. when you finish the rest of the hour, relog in again, that way your sp is saved. Took me this long to figure that one out. Do you find this valuable?
