As far as I'm aware sympathy does not affect starvation. However the relative level of you to your pet does. Once your pet gets to around your level and above the rate of starvation increases 4-fold. There is an equation for it somewhere but I cant find it at the moment.

Sympathy is rather obsolete in a way now. Basically, if you have 50% sympathy, you get 50% of the pets buff now. Then you would feed it with energy rocks. So in a way, you always want it at 100%. (Go read section called , "Pets and Mounts"). It was raining outside, so today with your question, decided to update the pet section while I was at it. Hope this helps.What it is on the starvation is another thing, seperate from sympathy? If you pet is one level, the same level, and one level above you, you have a max time of 8 hours before it needs to be fed. Now this is from last year, and I presume nothing has changed. Then every level above you, that is if you are level 40 and your pet is level 42, the pet's hunger increases. I have the charts in the pet section now if you need to look now. This is from the "Pet and Mounts" section, click "Pet health, hunger, sympathy" section Hunger Guide The following is a rough guide on pet hunger when there are differences in levels between the pet and the player. Pet Level Difference to Character Hunger Points Lost Same level or lower 1 Hunger Point 1 or 2 levels higher 2 Hunger Points 3 or 4 levels higher 3 Hunger Points 5 or 6 levels higher 4 Hunger Points 7 or 8 levels higher 5 Hunger Points 9 or 10 levels higher 6 Hunger Points 11 or 12 levels higher 7 Hunger Points 13 or 14 levels higher 8 Hunger Points 15 or 16 levels higher 9 Hunger Points 17 or 18 levels higher 10 Hunger Points 19 or 20 levels higher 11 Hunger Points *This will then continue at the same rate. Be aware that pets have a maximum of 100 Hunger and with a difference of 19-20 levels, a pet can starve in well under an hour. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
