Well hello there. It's been quite some time since I last stopped into this site to say hello or offer any words of guidance. I don't plan to stay for very long but I just wanted to let you all know how I've been.

I had my rogue Lywyndyll and she was my baby, my little darling and then she grew up to the ripe old age of 155 and she is too beastly so I had to let her take a vacation. I've since been working on XxOrganGrinderxX one of these new little bird boys aka Night Shadow.

I've gotta say they are really fun to play, good damage, crits like a rogue, long range and magic dmg like a mage, medium hit rate, medium evasion. They lack in defense but that is their only weak point that I have taken note of. I still say the mage levels faster without the need for souls.

Overall I like my NS more than I like my Sin. It starts out slow with them though but their skills keep getting better and better. They cost quite a bit of time to develop and sp farm that is for sure. 176k to max all to 165. That is a ways away and I've been fortunate to get a peek at the sp in the new map Mondshine, so I leveled to 103 and maxed all skills then banked 30k sp, I should have saved 40-50k, to make the journey to 140( I'm 122 now and leveling ) I am strong enough to kill mobs of sorcs so 140 should be no big problem, just more time and money to get there.

I was really lucky in that, in the weeks after EP2 was released tons and tons of awesome NS gear was dropping all over the place. It got to the point that I would sell the b5e stuff to the merchant as there were no NS to sell it to and there was no place to store it anymore. I have all the gear I will ever need already and that makes my journey that much easier.

If any of you have any questions about a night shadow you can usually track me down at s4 arena if I am not off leveling. I'll try to stop back to this site soon but I make no promises. Do you find this valuable?

If anyone else is leveling a nightshadow.... I am curious how you are spending your stat points. I have tried a variety of things and all seem to work just fine.

I've tried pure intelligence for maximum damage, a mix of dexterity and constitution with the majority going to intel. I've tried a strict Constitution build for max life. I do relatively good damage and no matter what, I die easily at the hands of rogues.

I will test a 1/3 split between dex, cons and intel and play that way for a few days to see if it works... I'm sure it will. Hell I might just keep all the stats unspent and see how I fare. lol

Anyhow let me know what stat variants you use and how well it is working for you. Do you find this valuable?

I figure it out like this. This applies to all classes, ONLY if you have the ap. I use the hp and mp boosters to boost my hp basically. I used hp stealers and mp stealers all the time, so would be a bad choice to put stats on intel or con. Therefore, put it on dexterity so you can have a better chance to hit harder. This game comes to a point where if you want to level you must have mp and hp stealers to level. Even without ap, you can shop and sell and buy them.
