Updates

I noticed that everything on here seems to be prior to an update that was recieved in late May, I believe. After that update my bare handed attack speed was increased thus upsetting the balance of my pet leveler. Any enemies that I take on now are dying, I was wondering if anyone has came up with a system yet that counters this. I understand that my pet leveler is contrary to what the guide says but from the way I understand it, all will be effected. My pet leveler is a level 16 knight, I would use treants to level on, not pet agressive, likes to gang up but once you get one separated from the group it's smooth sailing. Now they die because I am hitting them fast than they can regen. I must admit that I haven't played the game for a while after trying to find an answer to this and coming up with nothing, now when I logged in today, alot has changed. I'm stuck if I can't get the funds from my leveler. I use them for my current primary which needs all the skill point boosters I can find, any advice on this subject will be appreciated!

Yup, them updates sure changed a lot of things. In May of last year, after that patch, I could not level in the jail no more. I was getting killed all of a sudden. But I told others, what do I always say, "Learn to adapt." My advice is guidelines not set rules because every patch changes things.Yea, I had my Level 32 knight just pet leveling away and finally gave up. lol I will try later to figure out something. Now, the pet leveler that I describe are just guidelines. You can make a pet leveler out of ANY class now. But if you understand the knight requirements, then you can understand what it takes to make a pet leveler. Like you do not want ANY passive skill that increases attack now. I was going to suggest that to make a level 12 pet leveler now. You can arm him with +3 armor and shield. It is easy to get to that level. You go to S5 and get Elizabeth's buff there, and she gives you a 200% increases in sp and xp. Reason, I said 12, is because that is the level you can use the level 15-17 armor. Then you can slowly raise the knight by level and see what level if any, that you can train on the treants. Again, I have not tried this but seems that you go lower and raise yourself a level each time till you can pet level at the treants now. Now if it is a knight, you HAVE to have only those 2 skills that I put in the STRATEGY GUIDE. No exceptions. You do NOT want any skills that improve Offense now. Most people never understand this. I tell them to follow EXACTLY what i say for a knight trainer. THere is no ifs or ands, and you CAN NOT do otherwise, period. Try to make another knight and slowly raise him from level 12 till he can train on the treants now. That is all I can say for now. Now once you can train on the treants and maybe you need to improve your armor, try getting it to +4. The armor is cheap now. Remember to get a weapon to get the two smelts. What I did to counter the changes was equip an energy collecter. It slowed down my attack and lowered my hit points...I was no longer killing my mob. Also, i found if I went one or two levels of mob higer, that worked too.

never heard of equipping an energy collector. But like I tell people, if it works go for it, LOL. But going to a high mob is what you do. I have a level 32 tk and have problems finding a mob to train on. Once thing i do need to do is maybe level him up another level or two and see if any new mobs might work. I will try the collector thing though. Do you find this valuable? |

Try a berserker instead of butcher and equip an energy collector or a pick axe.My pet trainer is lvl 31. He also has a red name and a good/evil of -155. He works 24/7 on butchers. Do you find this valuable? |
