sp at lvl 48

I am new to LC.I am a lvl 48 sin with maxed skills.I lvled on white mobs and only have 1000 sp at the moment. What I want to know is 1. if i follow the sp guide at ( http://darlasilvereye.yolasite.com/resources/sp_guide_u.pdf ) can i actually get 50k sp by lvl 90? 2. or is this an unrealistic goal i.e. to time consuming?

Part IGo to STRATEGY GUIDE and read the SP sections and also the section "Beginner's Guide to Leveling." Here is my two cents on the subject: 1. When you level make sure to have Resurrection Scroll on you. So when you die no xp or sp is lost. OR have a SP restoration scroll on you, so when you die then xp is lost but NO SP IS LOST. SP is HARD to recover. 2. I suggest to everyone to get ALL the skills, crafting skills included. Reason, is that later when you get the gold you should be able to buy a skill reset card to get all the crafting sp back to get skills if you need to. 3. I am a L162 RK and I have noticed this. When I was in the L50s and levelijng, I did not use all the skills available. I do not think anyone does. Be impossible for me to use the 20 skills now at once, LOL I have 5 that I use. Another thing, you kind to have to LEARN, is what the power is for a skill. Example, I have a L5 Divine Skill. Sounds Good right. Well all it does is gives me or whoever I buff only 50 points for defense. It took me a longgggggg time to realize that most of the skills are good for the lower levels. The skills were made when the cap was Like L50 and they really never improved them. That is those low levels skills still are low and no use to me, as i figure that out. Looking at the power, I do not even use the devine shield no more, as 50 points to my defense of like 6700 is a small percentage. But do get your skills for your class, then after a while you will notice that you only use centain ones all the time. Again, look at the power too.If you have a skill that gives you offense or defense look at the increase it gives you. Then like me after a while 50 points to add on defense is not worth it. At least in my opinion at high level. At low level, it might help now, but then the higher you go, the less percentage wise it helps. Do you find this valuable? |

PART II4. Go to SHOUTBOX on the forums and ask questions there too. Also go to the directory and read about your class skills. REMEMBER, POWER. All these SO CALLED players say some skills are sooooo good.. I telll them, look at the power versus your own, and what is the percentage that it helps. If it helps like 25% you can say GOOD SKILL, But then if it is like 1%, you can live without it. That is why you look at the skill chart. If you are a Knight then the skills are up to date now. 5. Always MAX all passive skills no matter what they are. 6. What the do not tell you, The higher you level, then the greater loss of sp, when you die. That is if you do not have the Resurrectin Scroll or SP Restoration Scroll. But learn to hit and run. Most people (me included) used to fight to the death. Then one day, a light went off in my head. I realized the % of xp lost was like 2 hours. So two hours wasted. Then I turned to a better player. Hit and run. Now i do not die like I did in the good, ole days. Of course, when the game is lagging, that gets me as I try to resurrect on the spot and the lagging will kill me. Now i just resurrect at the start point. Reason: 2% loss, was one hour of playing time but MOST important, one hour of pots LOST too. XP loss was no biggie, but then when I saw REAL TIME money being lost, i said NO WAY. Lose my xp, but do not lose my dollars. LOL \ Do you find this valuable? |

PART 37. Lastly, just learn how to fight and run and use hp and mp pots. When you hit the mob, then try to disengage, the mob might hit you two more times. So you learn after a while to disengage say at the half way point. I have my hp and mp pots on the f11 and f12 keys and constantly hitting those. But you will find, that you have to hit them a lot JUST to take effect. I always have to hit the f keys a lot just to get the pots to equip. I know Aeria fixed it like this for sure. Before you do attack buff up, then hit the hp and mp pots then attack. ESPECIALLY does this if you know you will be taking some major hits. Then continue to hit the fkeys to keep the pots going. In my case, I sometimes have to hit the med button as I get hit too fast, as the HP stealers are lagging. To me having 50k is unrealistic. Suggest to get your skills as you get to the level. Some people sp farm say at L100 to get a skill. Hard but doable. That is possible to do so. Me, I just used to have a pssp on all the time (I could afford it then) so I kind of sp farmed as I leveled. Now when you get to L140, make sure to read the Mondshine guide ahead of time now. hint hint Hard to tell you what to do now. Again, my opinion. Most people advance and never sp farm till it is too late. Then either start over or sp farm at that level. Again, it is done both ways. Having that much sp, they probably meant that as a total including the sp spent on skills now. I can not see having that much sp FREE on you. You better have a lot of sp restore or rez scroll on you is all I can say. IF I REMEMBER, I will post the total skills I have and the ones I actually use, You will see what I mean. Remember, lot of skills are like LOW LEVEL stuff and no use when you are at L100. How do you know "" POWER tells you so. No one understands this or they do not listen to me but it is there.
