How do you use the book of melding?

I have this book of melding that I got from the shop and I thought it would be useful. However, now I don't understand how it works. I don't know if my account is glitched or what. I do what it tells me to do and it doesn't work. It tells me that I am not doing what I thought I was. Please help me and explain thoroughly how to use it and what it is for. Do you find this valuable?

Sorry for the long response. Been having internet problems, as my service is going on and off due to problems.

Also, if you click the STRATEGY GUIDE, it has the good stuff that most people ask about.

NOTE: Click PATCH NOTES, then go to the LC site. Once there, click the link to get sunglasses. Sunglasses are the ONLY item now, that you can use the Bonus Meld book with now. They used to have weapons cover and uniform covers that you could use Bonus Meld Book with, but they do not sell them no more.

1. The meld books only work with sunglasses at the moment. So go to patch notes to get a pair of FREE sunglasses.
2. If you get the sunglasses, you can meld them to your helm. If you use the Big book of melding, they will meld them to your helm WITHOUT any extra plus.
Depending on your helm +, you can buy Bonus Books of Meld. Then depending on your plus of your helm, Get one tht will get you the max of +17. You could have a Helm at +12. Then buy the books one at a time and open till you get a +3 Bonus Meld book. Then you could meld your sunglasses to your helm and get +15. What is good, is that this will last forever.
3. When you level, you will eventually get your next helm. Again, you can have options. You could upgrade the helm to +12. Then use the unmeld book to unmeld from your lower helmet. Then you would meld the higher helm to the sunglasses to get +15. Again, the max you can get with a Bonus Book for an item is +17. So if you have a +15 helm and use a +3 bonus meld book, you ONLY get the +17 stats.
If you use the bonus book of meld, then whatever the plus is of your helm, the sunglasses will be that plus. The only thing is that now, you will have sunglasses on and not the helm. Good for looks only.
