I can't get my dragon mount to sit. I used the sit command for me and that worked b4, but isn't now :( Any suggestions? Do you find this valuable?

Hmmm, last time i had a dragon mount was like 2 years ago, and have to think on this. I will check with someone that has a dragon mount or possibly borrow one. Remember one thing. Every patch brings some "hidden" bugs that no one finds out till later. This might possible be one. For 2 years, there was never a problem with the weapon smith. Then one patch, put a bug in it and don't ask me how they do it. LOL

Well, all i can say is that it is a bug expecially since you said it worked before. Problem is, is it a bug or did they take it out so the dragon can not sit???

Let me check around or hopefully someone else knows what happened.

PS. Hope you will eventually sell the dragon mount. Not good for anything but looking cool now, LOL Try to get a horse mount now. LC is going to change the sp, so eventually prokion temple will be no more. That means we can FINALLY sp farm outside which will be good. There a level 37 horse mount will be the thing to have. Hate to bust your bubble, but dragon mounts are obsolete now.

Here is why they are obsolete. Now they were good when the level cap was Level 50. (Yup that far back, lol)

1. Depends if you have gold to spend you could have a dragon mount. But later on you will be buying a Horse mount for the buffs. When was the last time you ever seen a dragon attack in Eghea, NEVER Yes they can attack but at low levels now.

2. And also, you waste all that time training your dragon, whereas you could be training a horse to be your level 37 mount. The max level for the max attack of a dragon for mount is L33. So you know each level you get, takes longer and longer. So since the dragon is only good at low levels, if you were to use it at high levels, you would find that it will get waxed and you too, LOL It is one of those things, where you would have to experience it, to find out what I mean. Like me telling you how to drive in the rain and to brake further then usual because you might slide. Well, it will take you the experience and THEN you will see what I mean. Just like my Nephew rear ended this lady on a wet street, even when I told him. But he sure made excuses, LOL I told him, the ONLY way you slide in the rain, is to drive too fast and brake too late. He still made excuses.

So with the dragon you MIGHT get, you would be better off to get a L37 mount. Also, if you read the patches. This year they MIGHT finally do away with sp farming in the Prokion Temple. Finally back out to the open and that is where you would want your Horse mount buff.

3. To prove a point, I bet there is not ONE level 100 or above that would prefer to use a mount dragon over a horse buff, in the open now. Simple economics. The dragon attacks does nothing as a Level 100 player could hit harder. So better for the player to attack then sitting on his pet dragon attacking and hopefully doing a couple of points damage, LOL

Not sitting might be another patch bug. lol

Thanx for that and I do understand without practical experience, as I am 58 and have been there, done that, and have the T-Shirt to prove it lol

Your explanation makes perfect sense. I haven't had anyone explain it so well b4. :)

Actually, all the explanations are for people, OTHER THEN ME, that are not rich, lol. If you have the gold, you can AFFORD to buy a dragon, find out it is not all that, then go order a 2010 Level 40 pet, fully loaded. Too many people give advice from the rich player's view. When i started on the wiki, i made mistakes but gradually come to adjust my views. Those people in the high levels. They got the bucks is all I can say. Some spend more in a month, then I might in 6 months, now. I have to buy and sell a lot to make ends meet to level now.

Well, dont know about the explaining part, but ppl can put their views here but in the long run, they better coincide with mine because mine are for the poor player who can not afford stuff. Besides, all this advice in from if you were a higher level and looked back and said, "Wish, I could have done that instead."" LMAO

Thanx again. I'm one of those low gold ppl, but I have a lvl 30 horse too, and know how to fast track it. Fist fight targets that r green, white or yellow and it gets faster points that way. I saw ages ago a knight doing just that, and asked him what he was doing, and he explained it. :) I fast tracked my Drag that way.

I call it here in the wiki somewhere, the xp/hp/hit ration. That is. Which mob can you get more xp/sp in one hour. Most people just look at levels and the BIG xp. Sometimes if you go to the lower level, lower xp , you can kill them faster, therefore gaining more xp in an hour. In the forums, are a lot of ppl that give advice. They think cuz they have been playing, they are the MASTERS. Most are overeducated morons. I had a go at a couple of them one time. I told them to get sp farming (back in the good, ole days) that it was better to kill drakes then Dark Goddesses. The DG had more xp and this is ingrained in their mind. If it has more xp therefore you should kill that then the lower level 17 drake with lower xp. I tried to tell them, that you can mob the drakes, not worry about getting killed, and kill them faster, therefore getting more xp in a hour then trying to kill DGs in an hour. But they are set in there ways. Higher xp mobs are better regardless, LOL. That knight you saw, probably understood what I would be saying. BTW, I think it was like 2 to 1 with the xp and sp in regards to the drakes and Dark Goddess now. SOmething like that, but enough that in a 10 hour span, it made a major difference to me.

BTW, hopefully by the End of the year, no more sp farming in the temples, WHEW. They said they are going to readjust the sp and xp. So when they do, like I tell everyone, "Be Flexible." So if I say something here, a patch may make it obsolete now. Possibility they may raise the xp and sp on Dark Goddess, then leave the drakes alone, then all of a sudden it may be better to kill dark goddesses, But again, I tell players, which mob gives you the most in an hour now. But at least you are smart to follow and listen to that knight lol.
